Happy Beltaine!

Feathers in Hair

World's Tallest Hobbit
There are bunches and bunches of spellings! I can't imagine who'd want to try to debate it, when the kind intent is what is appreciated!

:dan: dance with me feathers :dan:

if i may, the lyrics from one of my favourite bands, Inkubus sukkubus, queen of the may

All across the barren land
Still cold from winter's hand
It has been a time for tears
Season of the Goddess return
On this eve, the first summer night
Out of the darkness and into the light
Set the Beltaine fires alight
Season of the Goddess return
Hail! Hail! the Queen of the May
Now is the season, now is the day
A time to laugh and a time to play
Hail! Hail! the Queen of the May
Through the time when the green leaves hide
The dream of summer has kept us alive
Through the darkness we have survived
Season of the Goddess return
Let the leaves be green again
Let us all be free from pain
Out of the ice and into the flame
Season of the Goddess return!http://www.lyricsdomain.com/9/inkubus_sukkubus/queen_of_the_may.html

In celebration I went to my first ever Church service yesterday evening. I think I disagreed with just about everything that was argued in the sermon but it was a very positive experience and I shall likely return next week.

My wife told me about this this morning! Don't know how she might celebrate... Maybe dance naked in our garden. Our 70 year old neighbor would have a heart attack!

Blessed be this day of Beltane,
Wedding day of the Goddess and the God.
Holy day of Sacred Marriage,
Holy night of Sacred Union.
The fertile Goddess of Summer walks through the land
With the Great Horned God of the Forest,
And the dark time of Winter is behind us.
The animals breed and the plants pollinate,
As the May Queen and Green Man
bestow Their blessings upon the Earth
and Earth's creatures.
We who are Their children,
rejoice with Them and ask that
Their happy union become the example
for all humanity to live in love and harmony.
The dark days are cleared away
so that the May Day can now begin!
We greet the time of unions and give honor to
the Lord and the Lady for Their fruitfulness!
Today we witness the marriage of our Goddess and God.
May Their union be fertile and productive!
As They are one, They become one.
As They become one, They are one.
And we are also one with Them.

Happy and Blessed Beltane, everyone!

Joyous Beltaine! :)

May all your cows be disease-free, have plentiful milk and bear a lot of baby moo-moos. ;)

And free steaks at Joe's bonfires. :eat:

Yes happy Beltane! I just discovered what this was a couple days ago. An online Wiccan friend of mine said that she had breast cancer and after some healing magick and a happy Beltane festival, the doctors said there was no more cancer!
