Hair Discrimination???

I'm ok with the bill. From what I read in the article, the bill is specifically addressing black hair styles. Super curly hair has to be treated differently than straight hair, so it only makes sense to me that businesses shouldn't be able to restrict it's workers from locks or braids

Your evidence supports only your view
that the term should comport with
original historical origin.
Tis evidence to a bad argument.

No one is misled.
Everyone here knows what is
meant by "french fry" / "French fry".

My argument is not what Americans call them my argument is what they are

Me too. I'm just astounded that such a bill is required, especially in a western European country.

They are french fries.
The fact that they aren't French is no problem.

Similarly, "American sauce" in Finland
is unlike anything in Ameristan. It's
a mere name. Just as Randy isn't
randy. Bob doesn't bob. And Dick
isn't one.

I know the term "freedom fries" has been
coined, but no one here actually says it.
It's more of a joke about how stupid
& showy 'patriotism' can be.

They're still french fries, & are among the
greatest foods ever invented. But I prefer
Tater tots...

Only in America (that accounts for 5% of the world population... Oh and anyone else who chooses the Americanised version of the English language.

Interesting point, why are they not pommes frites if you consider the name french?

Another point, pommes frits, actually means fried apples so even the French (and Belgians) get it wrong.

Preferable to the Limey & other versions of English.

The name is what it has long been.
No reason to change.
Although....
How about "insurrection fries"?

When you finish fixing those languages,
I'll let you have at ours.

Wait til you get to Chinese!
When you order shi zi tou, are you
upset that it's not a real lion's head?

I see that the double posting bug bit you too.

Insurrection fries sound good

When you finish fixing those languages,

Languages are fine perhaps you need to realise the tiny proportion of people who speak American English.

Fixed, this lag is a pain
