There is what results.
It is correct simply because it is.

There is a possibility that fries were invented in Spain first. Well potatoes first landed in Spain so chances are hight they fried them.
By your reckoning, all language
would be wrong because of how
chaotic etymology is.
Doesn't matter where

A name is just a label.
Where evidence shows it to be wrong they should man up and admit the error
