I think the important thing is to notice, Bible doesn’t say God made mistake. That is your interpretation.
Only because I understand the meaning of words and how they'r grammatically strung together.

I think it is wrong and I think Bible should be understood so that God was sorry.
Of course you do. A matter of fitting its words to fit your theology rather than letting your theology be shaped by its words. Nothing new, just rather sad.

But talking about requiring a claim to be exactly spelled out :rolleyes: as you so humorously require . . . .

Does the Bible say there's a holy trinity?

Does the Bible say it's inerrant?

Does the Bible say there were three (3) wise men?

Does the Bible say there are seven deadly sins?
