And humans generally are "designed" so badly that they even require extra clothes and special equipment and houses to survive in a lot of environments. We compensate for our bad fragile "design" using our own inventiveness.

A cell without a genome is a dead cell per definition. What's left can't do what living cells can do. Putting in the genome creates a complete living cell that can do all the things other living cells can do.

We have a better chance of surviving with houses than without them since we can compensate for the fragility of our bodies by building an artificial environment to suit our fragile bodies instead of having our bodies succumb to the natural environment.

It is conflict between religious beliefs and evidence based beliefs along with the conflicting methods between religious education and secular education. We are taught conflicting sets of standards. Some isolate themselves from secular education and it's "standards". Other people choose to use it to bolster something they already believe in. Humans do it all the time outside of religion and god(s). It could also be an issue of ego in which one is incapable of admitting that they hold different standards based on the subject at hand.

Next time you feel sick don’t go to the doctor then, just pray. It’s just another standard you can choose from anyway, right?
