if that outcome requires an apology, then he should apologize.
And you would accept it or would you just say he didn't mean it?

Notice how you focus only on the stuff AFTER YOUR PRESIDENT DID WHAT HE DID. That would be, of course, not something you'd care to discuss, because you'd have to recognize it as a proximate cause.
I have accepted every sincere apology that I've ever been offered. And I've never had the ability to determine whether it was sincere or not.And you would accept it or would you just say he didn't mean it?
Where did I say that? Where did I even hint at that? Why would you even suggest it -- except as a deflection? So the Iraninan general was just some innocent, benevolent, caring individual?
And you know what? I think you should apologize for even trying that terrible misdirection. So the Iraninan general was just some innocent, benevolent, caring individual? What role did his actions play in all of this?
Suleimani was a butcher and completely evil. Do you need me to be clearer? But how does that change anything I've said?
We really have zero room to talk here. The USS Vincennes shot down Iran Air flight 655, killing all 290 civilians aboard in one of the worst naval accidents in U.S. history.
If someone blew up your wife and kids, would some money make it feel better to you?And we didn't even blame anyone else for it. Crazy, huh.
...In fact, the U.S. paid 61.8 million in compensation to the families of the Iranian victims.

And did you express regret for all of those lost lives? Or is that not something that figures in your political considerations?
I'm just an atheist, so I have difficulty understanding why I think every life is important, and every unnecessary death should be killing. I haven't the religious training that allows me to ignore that while patting my country on the back.

His actions may have deserved his killing (that's not my view, I'm not a fan of killing). But what does that have to do with the fact that Trump made a decision -- not entirely based on the "fact" of "his actions" -- decided to take him out? For his own political good? Who else around the world is similarly "deserving" of being killed, and why isn't Trump killing them? Good grief, Trump cozies up to murderous dictators around the world, and makes not a move against them. Of course not -- he approves of them!Did his actions lead up to his killing?

You really don't want to know the answer to that...it would not be edifying. If someone blew up your wife and kids, would some money make it feel better to you?
