To which way of thinking? You know, I've just typed several responses, and back spaced the whole thing, trying to come up with something. But there's just no words to describe the level of illogical insanity to this way of thinking.
To which way of thinking?
There are only so many men who get viagra.
However, the vast majority of birth control pills are prescribed for reasons that have nothing to do with birth control. therefore there are tons and tons of women being prescribed birth control.
So from the insurance companies PoV it boils down to they do not want to put out that kind of money to cover all those prescriptions.
Now why is viagra covered in the first place?
because there are not enough prescriptions for it to seriously effect the insurance companies bottom line.
oh, I agree. That's my problem. It's all about the money, and not the health. Chris Rock said it. It was said in House. Medicine is about money, it's a business. And, it shouldn't be this way. It's corporate greed that makes it like this.
