Oh i know but there is always somebody around who thinks these laws are enforceable... and thinks they have the authority to enforce them. Sad but unfortunately true...

Are we talking about the laws considered to be dumb by universal consensus? Fornication, sodomy, spitting on seagulls, driving on highways, killing a racoon after 12 AM on a Sunday, whatever the **** that means, to name a few, are illegal in some states.
Outside of that, there are plenty of stupid laws. We have laws prohibiting freedom of speech, even in America, where it is guaranteed by the constitution as an unalienable right.

It is illegal to congregate in public with two or more people while each wearing a mask or any face covering which disguises your identity.

It is illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing “body hugging clothing”.
Citizens may not greet each other by “putting one’s thumb to the nose and wiggling the fingers”.
A fine of $25 can be levied for flirting.
