Drugsdealers meet justice: 8 executed

BSM1

What? Me worry?
Not trying to sound heartless, but they sorta knew what they were getting into when they carried the drugs into the country. If not at least the next set of drug dealers/carriers might think twice.

I will admit it right here: I'm against the death penalty for ethical and practical reasons, but I consider drug-dealing to be an atrocious crime worthy of severe punishment. Drug dealers don't just harm themselves; they lead many people to addiction that quite often can be fatal. I have little sympathy for them.

Indonesia made the best decision in centuries.

Something came to mind, though: you did imply in some of your posts that you believe the correct thing to do concerning homosexuality is to severely punish those who engage in it. This means that you consider homosexuality to be a crime comparable to drug-dealing. I think that is quite a disgusting and warped way to view the world.

I think that is my freedom to believe.
But its impossible to implement that.
I dont think there are gays having sodomy meeting in the park!
If caught ofcourse they should be punished.

Anyways slayer, thank u for mentioning that. But topic is drugsdealers :)

Drugs destroy communities, anyone who denies this has not lived in a community that is destroyed by drugs and has lived a rather privileged life. I do support the executions, but it's impossible to stop the flow unless you go to all out war against countries which grow drugs.

Like Stringer Bell says: ' This game's forever'

Drugs is dangerous and even deadly.

If drugs are so dangerous and deadly, shouldn't Indonesia also execute the drug users? It is their demand for drugs that creates the supply after all. Rather like child pornography; the consumers are almost as culpable as the producers.

As long as this isn't a situation like in the movie Maria Full of Grace with a person basically being enslaved by a drug cartel and forced to act as a drug mule, I don't really care that they were put to death.

Mexico's Cartels are an extremely unique situation, which has more to do with the Mexican government's utter failure in general than with drugs.

Mexico is an exception, not the rule.
Mexico is just one example, and a brutal one at that. We have street gangs in the inner city across America trafficking crack, heroin, and other nasty crap. They are highly responsible for the destruction of many communities and families.
