I would say the least of people is as important as the best of people if the measure of humanity is its heart.

Some judge after the heart, some skill and intellect.

If there is a brahman reality then the judge of us all is our compassion towards others. All creatures Great and small serve a purpose toward the cause of life.

And the end goal of life is for all to equal the heart of the divine will.

Mere intellect and skill alone without heart does not make one Great.

Life is to lift others up. To serve life is to lift others up in virtue. Friendship is at the core of life's pursuits. IMV. Life is a giver not a taker, nor a pedestal for vanity. Life give's according to the necessity of making us all better individuals.
