What bothers me is why was this a subject for debate in the first place, wasn't it obvious enough?

And why would anybody debate Sunstone?

Thank you, my love! There was a moment there when the issue seemed in doubt. But then I wrote the OP and all was immediately lost for the scoundrel, Doppleganger.

I've got to side with dopp on this one. True love is not possessive. If it were possessive, it's not true love. That doesn't mean there can't be agreements, like "we truly love each other and are monogamous, so we agree not to sleep with others".

But true love doesn't cling, isn't jealous, isn't controlling, and desires what is best for both the other person and the self.

I haven't actually read any of the posts in that thread, but I did notice that Sunstone has way more posts and that his are longer than Doppelganger's, so Phil is obviously winning.
