Sure, no problem. As long as she knows that if she would like to go on with me, she won't be marrying in church and her sundaysmornings will be without me..

Voted Yes, even if the Christian was intolerant of non-Christians. I like a challenge. I've already done it and I managed to instill a bit of tolerence in her, though her family never found out I wasn't a Christian (They asked me what church I went to all the time, I told them I hadn't found one yet, which is true.... sorta.)

I have dated Christians in the past, and been close friends with some Christians for many years. As long as we can respect each other's beliefs (and they're not prejudice against homosexuals - that's a deal-breaker) we'll get along fine.

It's not like she'll have a Jesus fish stapled to her forehead. Even so, there are plenty of cross wearing whores. The subject of religion rarely ever comes up. So, unless she's evangelical I might not even know about her beliefs until much later.

Even so, there are plenty of cross wearing whores.

So true.

I put for the hot night of sex because it was the best choice, but for a serious relationship only if she was tolerant that i didn't believe in what she did. Because intolerance in one respect is often an indicator of intolerance in alot of things.

Absolutely, I would.

I voted "Yes, but only if I knew that the Christian was tolerant of non-Christians"......and it's mostly for their own sake. Dating me would be a bee-yatch for them if they weren't.

Peace,
Mystic

I've known hot Christian chicks that helped me redefine my perceptions of Christianity as an absolute morality.

Yes. But only to sacrifice her to Cthulhu.

In such a relationship though, I would give my fullest to try to deconvert/corrupt her.

I'm kinda beyond dating at this point, but I did date a Christian and ended up marrying him. He was more of a lapsed Catholic at the time, and even though later he was an agnostic, sometimes you can take the boy out of the Church, but not the Church out of the boy. ;)

If he hadn't been tolerant of my faith, well, actually more like "accepting" of it, I would've moved on. I've seen what happens in interreligious marriages when kids come along, so taking care beforehand is essential.

Eeek! I'm not a Christian anymore but still this sentence bothers me. It's a little disrespectful dontcha think?
What I mean by cross wearing whores is that many people call themselves Christian but don't live by it. You can't tell from outward appearance what someone believes on the inside.

The OP asks if I would date a Christian and what I'm saying is that you often have to date someone before you get to know them or even find out that they are Christian.

I couldn't choose any option. For one, I'd be dating a male, so he at least couldn't be a homophobic Christian. I'm more likely to date a Christian if he approaches Christianity from a metaphorical point of view, or even if he believes that some of it was historical, it would be required that he be very open minded and tolerant of others' beliefs and non-beliefs, especially mine. :) I can respect certain Christian themes and elements from a metaphorical point of view myself.
