I guess "sugarpuddin'" because it's the only one that makes sense to me. Pudding typically has sugar.

However...

I've never put honey on a dumpling (this may not be accurate because later in life, honey was the only thing my grandmother could taste and putting honey on everything was the only way to get her to eat; not sure we made her dumplings though).

Bunnies don't have buttons.

Honest, i dont like any, i prefer more meaningful nicknames

I call my son "door" because he always leaves doors open

And we have a cat nicknamed "cooking fat". Soon after we adopted her hubby got up in the night to visit the loo and tripped over her. Next morning when the kids asked "what did dad shout last night" my grasping for straws answer became one of her nicknames.

Out of those I like Sugarpuddin' best.

But usually when I nickname someone it has something to do with their normal name. Paul = Yo Paulie! (in a Jersery accent), Katie = Katie-Bug, really there is no rhyme or reason how I come up with it it's just a thing that naturally happens one day and I put little to no thought in it.

Over here it's nicknames like:

"Neck has arrived and he brought wine"

"Hey did you Braces yesterday? she's a terrible mother to her four kids"

"Whatever you do, do not ask Pastry what his favorite music is, his tastes are crap"
