Christians: Which is the greatest commandment?

Which commandment or direction do you believe is the greatest? Does your religion/church emphasize, teach, and/or practice it the most? If they don’t, then which one do they emphasize and practice the most as a whole?

Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. They are extensions of one another.

I don't think religions practice this. I think people do, or they don't. Mostly don't.

Same within Catholicism.
One would hope, as those are the two greatest commandments, which summarize the entire law of God. "Love works no ill", as Paul summarized it. It's something not limited to a religion. It's an attitude of living, which values and nurtures the beauty of Life itself within us and all that is, and generates that to everyone and everything.

I suppose those two can be said as one commandment, "Love". Love is the cornerstone of living and Life itself. It is foundational to all authentic religions, and transcends religions themselves. It's not what we believe, our capacity to be love, that makes faith authentic.

Please let us know when you're up to giving a straightforward answer. :D

I thought I did. You asked
Which would be what? According to which "Decalogue"?
I responded
Decalogue (jewishvirtuallibrary.org)

Exodus 20:2-17
I am the LORD your God,
who brought you out
of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage

Deut 5:6-21
I am the Lord your God who brought you
out of the land of Egypt, out of the house
of bondage. You shall have no other gods
before me.

In addition there is a shorter memorized form used by Catholics as an examination of conscience prior to confession.

I am the LORD your God:
you shall not have
strange Gods before me.

You shall not take
the name of the LORD your God in vain.

Remember to keep holy the LORD'S Day.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not kill.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
You shall not covet your neighbor's goods

What issue do you have that opposes Deuteronomy other than translation?
