    You guys are killing me...

Hope's question should not be reduced to petty semantical somersaults or etymological dancing.

Are you so arrogant that you can't simply say... "There is no way for any of us to fully understand God's character."??? Just because you don't understand his many permutations on this plane of existence doesn't meant they don't exist.

    Is God an entity?

Is Jesus an entity? If so, how did he get here and where did he go?

Repeat the same for the Holy Spirit.

This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ(John 17; 3) no third person mentioned there only the true God and jesus christ

    simple.

because they already knew his name(read the 'bible' before ex3:14, the name appears like 200 times[my guess]), moses was asking for further meaning.

questions like this make me seriously question your sincerity given other things you've said elsewhere.

:) You missed a very important part in your attempt at quoting John 1
In the beginning was the Word(Capital W) And the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God. (skip to verse 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.(Still speaking of the Word=God=Jesus) Jump to verse 14. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Now if the Word was God, and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us(Jesus) ok. Now when Jesus said his Father was greater than him,(Jesus cannot lie) He is greater than man, and Jesus had taken on the form of man, when he said this he didn't mean he was a lesser god (or whatever) than God But in his present earthly body His father was greater than him. Philippians 2:7-8 explains this he took the form of a servant, and humbled himself for us.

Try and argue 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

In Genesis 1:26 it says And God said let US make man in our image. Genesis 11:7 is God speaking again he says let US go down.
Now either God is talking to himself, Or there is more than one God..But wait..Or there is 3 in one (Our minds are not Gods mind and just because someone can't comprehend God having 3 differant parts does not say a thing, We can't comprehend it on this earth so it must be false? God is not of this earth and ANYTHING is possible with God) John 10:33 I and my Father are ONE.
Deuteronomy 6:4 The Lord our God is one Lord.
Matthew 28:19 says in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Notice name, not names. Singular use of the word piles even more proof onto the pile
There is 1 God, He has 3 parts.

I have so many other verses but unfortunatly I must go to work

Hope this clears up something :)

This uses Elohim which refers to the angels("gods"). We were created in the image of the angels, not of God. God is ONE. God does not look like us.

Stephen looks up into heaven and doesn't see the holy ghost. He's full of holy ghost. Does that mean stephen is possessed? Is the holy ghost indisposed for the photo op?

The holy ghost comes down as tongues of fire for the gathering of Pentecost 33 A.D. The disciples all full of holy ghost can now speak every language in the area.

The holy ghost comes down as a dove for Jesus baptism.

The people can pray for the holy ghost to strengthen their faith.

The holy ghost is god's power, not another entity. Speaking against the God's spirit is like speaking against his will. Note however that you can speak words of contempt against God himself and Jesus. Why the differences?

Note too that when Stephen dies he says to Jesus to receive "my" spirit. Did the holy ghost leave him? Did the holy ghost die when Stephen died? Why didn't Stephen say "please receive the holy ghost"?

Acts 7:59 They stoned Stephen as he called out, saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

And another important thing to remember. The bibles that have God's spirit spoken of as a ghost is from a period of time when the people believed in actual ghosts. Spirits of the dead cannot be or so it says in the bible in Ecclesiastes 9:5.

Everyone of the apostles, Jesus and the disciples are all full of holy ghost. That means there's either more than one or it's God's will or his power, not an actual entity.

And the passage in the beginning of the bible when God says "let us make man in our image" is when God is talking to Jesus because Jesus even says he was in the beginning with God and was the number one favorite and number one worker with God.

There's only Jesus and God the Father. Jesus says many times that he was sent by His Father. Not His equal, His Father. Jesus also says to pray to the Father who is in the heavens and not Himself. Jesus said His Father is greater than He is. Jesus prayed before He was taken into custody to His Father in the heavens. If Jesus, God and the Holy Ghost are all equals, then why does Jesus need to pray at all? Why does He pray to the Father? Why does He call God, the Father? If Jesus, God and the Holy Ghost are one, why does Jesus pray that His Father's will be done?

Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. The Trinity is the greatest mystery revealed to man by God.
That God is one. But in that oneness there are Three Persons.

Men do not have the power to raise themselves from the dead.

19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21But he spake of the temple of his body.
22When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
    (John 2 : 19-22)

Men ought not to be worshipped, but Christ being God, is worshipped.

The Holy Ghost was able to be sent by Christ, to be grieved, and to testify.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: (John 15:26)

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30)

    Acts 5
3But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
