Yeah but they built Churches basically over the Aztec temples,

Do you think there was some saint that sent the Spanish over and killed the Aztecs?

The Church actually passed resolutions to prohibit the slaughter of Americans as well as prohibiting them to be used as slaves. However, that didn't entirely stop the secular leaders from doing as such.

BTW, an excellent movie made about a true incident that relates to this is "The Mission".

Muslims do the same kinds of things today.

...No. The Spanish were heavily influenced by hundreds of generations of Islamism in their culture. Essentially, they were Catholics, with Muslim heritage. 700 years is a long time.

A monster was born.
