China is a dictatorship. They greatly reduced the freedom of their people and appear to have been able to isolate the virus.

Are you willing to give up all of your rights as they did in China?

People you need to keep in mind the US was helping fund that lab it Wuhan with several $millions and there were also American scientists working there.

I think that you meant to say "eliminate it". And that is true. It does make the chances of you getting it go down by a couple orders of magnitude.

And you and other antivaxers keep forgetting that unvaccinated people put others at risk. There needs to be some sort of consequences for refusing the vaccine. If one had to pay for their actions they would probably be much less likely to do such activities.

If you are willing to be a hermit, to isolate yourself from human contact I do not have much problem with that. But I do not know of anyone that actually does this.

That's a hypothetical "if".
But we'll all survive the plague.
Only a small fraction will die or be maimed.
Moreover, with so little farmable land, China depends upon
industry for economic power. That means having customers.
The plague harms that.
