Blood clots

Well it was government recommendation, actually. We have two main vaccines being rolled out at the moment (very poorly, imho.) Pfizer, which I think comes from Italy but don’t quote me on that. Or was it the Italian one we didn’t secure? Damn the news has been a jumble in my head about this lol
And AstraZenea (sp?) At first this one was recommended to those under 50. Not sure why, but that was apparently based on advice from health experts so whatevs.
Then the blood clot issue surfaced with it in the intended age bracket. So advice changed to those under 50 to go for the Pfizer instead. I suspect everyone will try for Pfizer now regardless of age lol

I'm guessing a lot of people here chose Pfizer, but I don't have stats on it. AstraZenea must have been the A you were looking for?

One person out of 6,000,000 who got the J&J died from the vaccine.
566,000 unvaccinated people out of 300,000,000 people got Covid and died. That's 1 in 530.

Now, lessee, which of those two odds are better - Hmm.

The CDC screwed up. They should not have stopped the J&J.

Shrugs. I'm sure most wouldn't see that as a big deal.

Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
VAERS is a passive reporting system, meaning it relies on individuals to send in reports of their experiences to CDC and FDA. VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine. This way, VAERS can provide CDC and FDA with valuable information that additional work and evaluation is necessary to further assess a possible safety concern.

Yep I couldn’t think of it off the top of my head lol
Now all I got to worry about is actually getting an appointment for my first jab. Hopefully within the next few months lol

My friend got her vaccine. She didn't get johnson and johnson cause they were talking of blood clots. I didn't read the whole thing but just be mindful what you choose to get.

Coronavirus Disease 2019

I think most side effects I looked up are mild. This one is a big one.

Not here to debate. Assumptions aren't facts.
I guess it just depends on each individual on how it can affect you. They are few a far between

I was harassed into getting vaccinated even though I had covid in January with documentation in February that I had antibodies.. I did the j&j 6 days ago with my history of anaphylaxis..I had a severe allergy reaction about an hour after getting the vaccine and have been having a severe immune response and my doctor said My body is trying to reject the vaccine and I’m on high dose of steroids for a week to try to counter act it..

Good for you I have a friend in NDak that is in the hospital right now with blood clots in her lungs.

Wow. My friend waited 7 hours, so I guess it wasn't all that bad compared. Then again, she only had two testing spots in her state. VA, where I'm at, is practically at every other store.

Mate, they bungled our rollout. It was supposed to take a couple months now it’s expected to take until at least August. Yay!
All over the news the other day there were immunologists calling out the Prime Minister for being a dolt. Lmao

Quoting a few exceptions when millions have taken it is not evidence of anything except that nothing is 100%. Unless there's a specific reason why any medical procedure in contraindicated. And if you want to use 100% perfection as a standard for medicine, good luck. NO ONE promised 100% perfection from any vaccine.

The lives of hundreds and thousands are being saved due to the vaccine. To ignore that is to vote that thousands of dead people are worth it if 3 people don't get a serious reaction.

Here are some reasons some people shouldn't get vaccinated.

Who should and shouldn’t get the COVID-19 vaccine? | Yale Health.

People with a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to any component of the COVID-19 vaccine should NOT receive the vaccine.
People with a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to any vaccine or injectable (intramuscular or intravenous) medication should consult with their health provider to assess risk prior to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

Theres no info on exemptions from CDC site so far I've found. That's weird.

It's best to look at both sides for any medical treatment. My brain surgery was 80% survival and one if the most complicated surgeries. We still got third opinions.

While vaccinations are healthy in general, why just look at the positives and not inform yourselves of the negatives (ideally without some confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance involved)

If you catch COVID, there is more chance you will get a blood clot because of it than if you had the jab.
Here's how things work......
If 1 in 10,000,000 die of a side effect of the drug, that is
unacceptable, & the manufacturer is liable for damages.

If 1 in 100 die because they didn't get that drug, that is
acceptable, & the manufacturer isn't liable for anything.
Also, government is happy that regulation is successful
in preventing deaths due to drug side effects.

I for one welcome the protection of our wise overlords.

Well, Ken, that should be enough for you. Don't get vaccinated.

Ignore the fact that people who did not get vaccinated die at much higher rates from COVID than people who die from the vaccine. Always remember - science is evil - it is the work of Satan. It is always better to rely on Facebook posts and anecdotes than to rely on actual science.

The next thing you know, science will try to tell us the earth is round and spinning and revolves around the sun. Horrible.

Do the math for yourself.

The death rate of unvaccinated people to the overall population of your country.
The death rate for vaccinated people.

The death rate for unvaccinated Americans - 566,000 out of 300,000,000.
The death rate from vaccines. In the US - 70,000,000 vaccinated - no deaths (@KenS' facebook stories notwithstanding).
