I once managed a church which had been converted to apartments.
They'd also make good bordellos, offices, & mansions.

These are the kinds of churches that impress me the most:

Conveniently located between the laundromat and sushi place.

And lots'o bars to keep people out.

Or are they to keep people in?

Study: Thousands of Churches Closing Every Year, but There Is a Silver Lining is an article on that point. What I take from that is a "church" as a traditional building with traditional functions is passing away but there are new models emerging.

I think the question is how many people are at each one.If there is less members going to new churches then the one closing down the church still loses.
