I was on a flight from Florida to the north-eastern USA one February and when I got on the plan it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit, I was wearing boots and a heavy coat and all the other people, many wearing Hawaiian shirts, getting on the plan were looking at me like I was insane..... when we got off the plan in the upper right hand corner of the US it was 1:00 in the morning and -20F.. the ramp for the gate was not working and we had to exit down he stairs and walk across he tarmac.. the people in the Hawaiian shirts no longer thought I was crazy.. actually they were to cold to think of anything... they now understood...I had checked the weather channel before I left.. that is why....Hawaiian shirts are and always will be... offensive

Those of us who were the real thing (made in Hawaii) wouldn't be cold.
We have an island state of mind.
(Also, I wear heavy long sleeve T shirts under'm in winter. Yeah, Mrs Revolt think it's weird.)
