Me neither. Upstairs we have wood floors, nice on the feet even in cold weather.

Downstairs in winter slipper socks or sabots are handy

I can't imagine carrying actual cargo in cargo pants without suspenders. Pockets are nice as long as they are light. Maybe some dental floss in one and matches in another. Don't stuff any pocket. Let it be mostly empty.
