It so cheap and low class...
It is apparently Sweden's dirty little secret.Wow that is almost exactly what happened to me when I lived in Germany.
Except the men were sexually harassing my fiance trying to grab at her making missy faces. So naturally I stomped their asses, as any man should in that situation. And of course the young Muslim men played the victim. Had it not been for witnesses to back up my side of the story I'd probably be in jail too.
Trump has advisers and lawyers they should have told him what to expect. If he thought that US citizen was treated unfairly, US authorities should have officially protested, Imo.Public support is more effective. Getting the word out, linking videos showing the truth of the situation. Proving how unjust the imprisonment of these young Americans on foreign soil is.
I know you're being hyperbolic in the thread title, it's not worth starting a war over. But Sweden definitely deserves to be shamed and their hypocrisy on display for the whole world to see.

I agree.I'm sure there is things going on behind closed doors we are unaware of as well. I don't expect these young american men to be jailed for much longer.
Not now with the current regime in power.Iran or NK must follow them, we are the good of the world
Why is that moron in the Oval Office even interfering with this?
Yeah I am. US citizens get arrested in foreign countries all the time when they break laws. You break a law, you get arrested and go to jail. Do I have to explain the dynamics to you?Are you actually asking why the leader of the USA got involved when a foreign nation imprisoned a US citizen

Lol Sweden doesn’t even have “bail.” They probably told him to negotiate further just to troll him. The international press are having a field day with this story lolWhat the **** are you *****ing about? Trump just offered to pay the man's bail

And yes we are all laughing at the Orange. No offence. But I guess it was a nice gesture
Did you watch @SugarOcean's videos? The rapper and his crew tried to get the other men to go away because they didn't want to fight. Yet they are the ones in jail because Sweden turns a blind eye to immigrate violence. These men are being jailed unjustly for simply defending themselves.
This is true. Still one would expect the leader of the free world to understand that it’s pointless to offer to pay bail in a country without a bail system. Hence all the pointing and laughing. There is no right to bail in Sweden although individuals who are released without detention may have their travel restricted by court order.
Nothing is straight forward in this story. What happened before hand? Why were the guys upset? We don't know and the video doesn't show that.

E.g. Trump offers to ‘personally vouch’ for A$AP Rocky’s bail in Sweden
What happened before hand? Why were the guys upset? We don't know and the video doesn't show that.
It's irrelevant. The video shows the rappers trying to de-esculate the situation by telling those guys to "walk away, we don't want to fight you". But the other guys kept pushing and pushing and pushing. It's obvious who the aggressors were.
It is relevant. They could have started/provoked it then backed down. How do you know the rapper and his crew didn't start it by harassing them, then tried to back down when they saw those guys weren't going to stand for it?
