Agree or Disagree!

So I guess you disagree?

Correct. I can't see a loving God presiding over a world in which their is so much needless suffering. I know that some will say that the suffering in the world is man's fault. However, I would counter that it is God who made us faulty so he is to blame.

What's life without a little pain to help us enjoy the good things? :)

The suffering I'm referring to is the millions of children born into this world who won't make it to see their 5th birthday due to malnutrition and/or disease. If you were God, would you be able to preside over a world such as ours without intervening?

We are into new territory here...
Does God preside over the Earth?
Is he at our beck and call?
does he do His will or ours?
Do we have sufficient information to judge his calls?
The holy spirit guides those that let him.
God has given us such abilities as we have.
Jesus has taught us.

It seems to me the ills of this world are down to us not God.

My concept of love is very specific but the vital component that differentiates it with God is that love is merely an emotion and I know of no belief system that deifies an emotion. Christianity, for example, clearly does not hold Jesus to be an emotion.

For me, Love is an Active "force".
Love is something you move and create in,
it is transformational, free, and healing.
Love is restorative, renewing and true.
Love is something you DO.

To live deep in the heart of Love,
is to live deep in the heart of God.
To move and create and live in the ultimate awakened experience.
Love is the highest Majik.

This for me is also God.

To me, God is all things and nothing. Love is relationship. There is relationship between me and God.

Yes. Love is also relationship for me.
I act and move and step in faith...
IN the glorious majikal mystery of Love/God...
and the most wonder filled things happen.
Subtle things that only I would notice,
as well as major paradigm/reality shifts.

My Life Reality throws open windows and doors,
as I step forward in active faith and personal majik,
things change in the most amazing and improbable ways,
and syncronicity abounds (both symbolic and practical).

And all in the deepest understanding of who I am,
and how I see, and what I'm going through.

My "relationship" with God,
is my "relationship" with Life.

God is life.
Love is the Majik.

It is a personal union in the deepest sense of the word.
(without any hint of religious "cliche")

God is love.

Sure

And God is hate
and blue
and muffins
and rocks
and plasma
and rage
and serenity
and harmony
and whatever else you can conceive of and more, he's supposed to be everything.

Though he's slightly more blue then the rest of those, he told me the other day.

That is also true.
All of those things can be found in God,
and more.

Anyone who finds/sees those things in their reality,
finds/sees (and even manifests) those things in God.

(as God is understood to be everything,
or the "fabric" of everything. The ONE, the ALL.)

Agree and disagree. God wants love but him/herself isnt love. God isnt made of anything. Love in an emotion, god is above all this.

Love is probably better described not as an emotion, but as an action. And if taking scriptures from the bible, you can very well say that God is love.

1 John 4:7-8
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Or we could study religion and find out exactly what they mean by God rather than throwing the term away by equating it with love.

"God is love" serves no purpose other than to drive us to understand less.
