I recently began keeping a journal again.
For me, it is more of a record than an emotional outlet. I was merely curious to see if there were any trends or patterns. I've been doing it for about a week, and boy, are there ever.
It seems almost every day is pretty much the same. The activities vary(went to park today, went to museum yesterday, etc), but there's still that common feeling of 'trucking through'. (Check box, done! Check next box, done!)
This isn't bad, really. And I think its pretty common. I'm not complaining. Most have some routines(honestly, I probably have less routine than most). I just wondered if there's a way to make each(or at least some) days seem special, and how to begin living in a fuller way. (I also wonder if I'm just overthinking this, as that's totally something I do.)
