accidentally biting your inner lip?

Today my teeth bit into my lower inner lip when I was eating whilst talking to someone (that'll teach me!)

Loads of blood came out

It's stopped bleeding but there is now a dent in my lip

For a while after I bit it my tooth hurt

Has anyone else ever done this?

Ugh. Yup. I've bit my tongue, lip, cheek. It's such a pain to heal, because it swells and then it becomes to easy to re-bite.

Usually my tongue sometimes my cheek, not bitten my lip.
I bit into my tongue a couple of weeks ago then bit the same place again soon after. Ouch

A few months ago i smacked myself in the face with a heavy log... Don't ask.
It smashed 3 teeth and pushed one of them right through my bottom lip.

It's been covered in Seinfeld, when Elaine is eating yogurt and hurts herself. Jerry says to her, "Boy, it's hard to believe with so much biting experience a person could still make a mistake like that."

I work at a daycare...the amount of times a child has fell bit their lip and started bleeding is numerous. Quite a few incident reports that way
