A Key Pauline Disclosure.

Evangelicals who try to grasp Canonized NT Text are trained to heavily rely upon the singular appearance of #2315 "theopneustos" in 2 Timothy 3:16 to say within all of their efforts they are dealing with The Word of God. Peter never stated all of Paul's teachings were God's Word, and only called them writings and wisdom. Peter never called Paul an Apostle, but only a dear brother.

The sole appearance in Scripture of a word or concept is not to be the foundation of any valid Theology. This is a principle of Hermeneutics 101, often ignored by Whiteknucklers. Even Paul himself admits his injection of personal comments into his writings. 1 Cor. 7:12, 7:25, and 2 Cor. 8:8 are clear examples, which must be rememembered by those attempting to claim all of Scripture is the Very Word of God. Such Bible Talkers need try to remember Divine Preservation of Scripture is not the same as an Impartation Solely of His Word.

Praise God He has allowed Scripture to be in our hands as it is full of self disclosures not requiring devisive manipulations. Praise God in His Mercy toward so many people He allows them to reevaluate and revise any of their erroneous soapbox statements they try to call "teaching." Praise God arrogant and presumptive Christian Academics do not have His Authority to devise far flung Theologies which have been deductively seperated from a literal use of His Word. Praise God we do not need the Rhetoric Devices of Professional Church Talkers in order for us to serve and worship Him. Praise God we in His image have the potential capacity to identify and to correct error using His Axiomatic Word, separating it from the human imaginations and compulsive thinking mixed within it, regardless of who has penned The Text.

Yeah, the funny thing is, the bible isn't nearly as into itself as what i consider idolators. It makes sense, since one author didn't know the next, etc.

This is one of the best posts I've seen from a Christian in awhile. There is no reason that Christians have to be nailed to whatever is said in the Bible. Christians can use their reason regarding dogma that seems questionable to their reason.

And to go further, why should Christian understanding be frozen in time by the Bible. Isn't Christ a living presence? So shouldn't we also listen to modern perspectives as well.

Thank you for reviewing the original OP. Christ indeed is living, and is entirely alive according to His Own Specifications apart from modern permutations of Scripture.

Peter never stated

That's right. we do not have a word the man wrote or spoke, with any certainty at all. No book can be attributed to him, and we know what is, came from the Diaspora in Koine speaking communities.

I wish it were different.

devisive is spelled divisive

The only way to have a better understanding of this text is through education.

Divisive manipulations is what happens when people with little to no real education try and interpret the text they do not understand.

literal use of His Word

This is where many go wrong. You do not interpret the text literally and retain credibility.

Indeed, and they seem to forget what it says first.

2Ti 3:16 All documents/scripture divinely breathed is also profitable for doctrine/instruction leading to evidence/conviction, leading to correction, leading to tutorage (correction) by righteousness/justification.

We don't know which are supposedly - divinely breathed.

No place in Scripture states "the only way to have a better understanding of this text [sic] is through education."

Such an idea is contrary to all in Scripture. "Studying to show yourself approved" has nothing to do with

Yes, We do know. The ones which say, "The Lord says," or "The Word of The Lord Came," or prefaced in a similar manner. Then, the credentials of the writer/speaker are to be evaluated.

Sounds like you have an issue addressing Pauls importance or status in the text.
Yes, I agree you apparently think in terms of "How things/people seem to be," rather than being able to speak to profered information.

Did you forget about not resorting to weak little ad hominems ... ? Lol. Apparently so.

Fact is, Paul and his modern worshippers are the ones with a problem, not I.

This is where your complete lack of understanding of how Christianity formed and evolved into what it is today get you in trouble.

Every bit of the NT was written by Paul and people just like him.

To bad. Without education anyone is blind to the knowledge it takes to understand an epic book from multiple perspectives.

Yes, Evolution and multiple perspectives is what you err upon. Lol.

John the Revelator, Apostles Peter and James, and the author of Hebrews were far, far from being "just like Paul."

Answer this question: Who appointed Barnabas to accompany Paul, why was he sent with Paul, and why did Barnabas abandon Paul? You have not one "educated" clue. Lol. There in your theological outhouse.

Lol. More fun.

Do you not like Paul?
Lol. This little question about "liking Paul" easily reveals the caliber of your assessments. Whether or not I "like" him is immaterial. I work with lots of people who incessantly babble beyond their level of knowledge and intelligence, but I still "like" them.

Paul was one such incessant babbler. Simply count up the number of times in any given chapter or book of his he speaks of himself, and then compare that number to how many times he speaks of Jesus/The Father/The Lord/The Holy Spirit. He always speaks far more of himself. Lol. Only an arrogant and deluded fool would consistently do such a thing, while writing "I must decrease, while He [Jesus] increases."

Looks like your ... "education" ... did not help you learn this simple approach. This is so much fun. Share more of your favorite ideas with me.

So you have enough knowledge to claim half the books of the NT were authored by an arrogant and deluded fool ???
Paul was so arrogant he abrogated the Jerusalem Church and The Apostles. He called them "Satan's Servants." Lol. Learn to read.
