1335 days prophecy

What's your take on the 1335 Days prophecy?

"Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days."
Daniel 12:12

Abdulbaha points to the 100 years anniversary of the declaration of Bahaullah in the garden of redvan as the time of fulfillment of the prophecy.
That means year 1963, which is the year of establishment of UHJ.

In doing so, it seems that this prophecy must be counted from the year 628 rather than 622 which is the beginning of Islamic calendar or 611-12 which is the declaration of Muhammad. So, if we add 628 and 1335 years, we get 1963.

Shoghi Effendi farther explained that one needs to know, when this prophecy was made, to make adjustments. Could that mean that this prophecy was made in 628?

In Islamic calendar, year 628, is when the Surrah of the victory, the 48th Surrah of Quran was revealed. Could this be the reason, the prophecy is counted from 628?
What are your thoughts?

You have probably come across this letter.

Prophecy of Daniel; Modifications of Baha'u'llah and the New Era

Concluding Remarks

While it is clear that the prophecy concerning the 1,335 days is associated with the spread of the Bahá'í Faith throughout the world, several different dates are given in our authoritative texts for the actual fulfilment of this prophecy. As mentioned earlier, the two Tablets of the Master which are cited in "The Passing of `Abdu'l-Bahá", page 31, suggest different dates for the fulfilment of the prophecy of the 1,335 days: 1963 and 1957. Further, in the letters written by or on behalf of Shoghi Effendi, the Guardian indicates that these same Tablets form the basis for his interpretation of the date of the fulfilment of the 1,335 days referred to in Daniel. Three different dates are either given by the Guardian or can be inferred from these same Tablets -- 1957, 1960, and 1963.

In addition, these same Tablets are also given as the reference for the one-hundred-year period that began in 1853.

In light of the foregoing, it is, therefore, suggested that:

- The prophecy of Daniel about the 1,335 days is not fulfilled by just one single date. Its fulfilment is, rather, a process that extends over a period of time.
- The fulfilment of the prophecy coincides with the period of the Ten Year Crusade, 1953-1963, a span of time that includes 1953 (the end of the hundred years whose significance is unclear), 1957, 1960, and 1963.

Two suggestion is given then:

In light of the foregoing, it is, therefore, suggested that:

so, to get 1963, one has to count from 628.

And do we as Bahais believe the conclusion given on behalf of UHJ to be infallible, in the matters of interpretations?

Having a quick read over the statements of Abdulbaha, and Shoghi Effendi, it may no be the case that they are saying, the prophecy will be fulfilled in different dates. They seem to use different wording each time. They seem to Only say 1963 to be the fulfillment, whereas other dates, they do not acctually say it will be fulfilled.
For obvious reasons, due to wisdom, they did not want to reveal, the establishment of UHJ will be in 1963, and perhaps they did not want to emphasize on 1963 to get all attentions to this date. Therefore they 'apparently', make it look like, they are suggesting different dates, in order to not draw all attentions to 1963, and if we read their wordings very carefully, are they actually saying it will be fulfilled in other times?
What about, when it comes to 1957, or 1960?

Let's carefully examine the statement of Shoghi Effendi in God passes by:

"The “hundred lunar years,” destined to immediately precede that blissful consummation (1335 days),
announced by Daniel in that same chapter, had commenced. "

Unless one reads more than what He says, there is no mention that 100 lunar years after declaration of Bahaullah the prophecy will be fulfilled. In fact He says, the consumption of 100 lunar years, will be just before the fulfillment of the 1335 years. 100 lunar years, comes to 1960, which is just before 1963.
To me Shoghi Effendi, is intentionally misleading the reader, as to make it unclear and vague, so, the actual year will not be known to public, until it comes.
Shia Imams did same thing. To many they did not reveal the time, saying we do not know, even they knew the year of manifestation of Qaim.
