These are very definate statements you are making as though they are true, isn't that closed minded? WHat makes you right and me wrong?Parma said:I dont deny that the beliefs of moses are right, maybe they are. but not to be open minded makes u think the wrong way. no 1 is born learned not even moses or jesus as they learnd through life and later on in life on how to live it. Even jesus was tempted. nothing is certain but god before all at end. there is no path only a journey to peace of mind you cannot find peace of mind by being forced wether that is through christianity islam or any faith as faith is open to all open minded. so to close it on the fact there is only 1 way to god is the same as saying there is no way. as lemon will tast bitter to you and to me the only difference is the taster. Taste true god he has no differences in any of his childern they fruit tastes the same to all
And all non theists are best buddies?dogsgod said:The mere asking of this question makes me question the validity of religion. The mere thought that religion should come between people is reason enough to abandon it.
*Paul* said:Ramadan songs? we recite Quran during Ramadan.Djamila said:Christians join in with Ramadan songs??
Mujahid Mohammed said:Ramadan songs? we recite Quran during Ramadan.
And she also said in response to my question:You'll have Muslims singing their hits (as in the clip above) - or even singing along with Christian songs - during Christmas television specials, and the same in reverse during Ramadan.
Yes. There's even an interfaith choir in Sarajevo that professionally performs the songs of all three of Bosnia's major faiths.
Lolz..hehehehehe....i agree with you brother Mujahid! hehe..OMG!Mujahid Mohammed said:Ramadan songs? we recite Quran during Ramadan.
You should be surprised! Listen, many (if not the majority) try to get closer to Allah during ramadan by praying, reciting the Quran...and many succeed to finish reading the whole Quran in the month of Ramadan not only once but twice and more...If you went to any mosque during Ramadan, you would find it full of the prayers, and also you would hear their cryings and hear them asking God's forgiveness!*Paul* said:Well I must admit that I was suprised to hear that there were Ramadan songs at all, I only ever remember hearing prayers recited (or maybe it was the koran being read in arabic).
Djamila said:This is a part of how we celebrate Ramadan, and it's the same in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, and even Turkey.
If that's different than in the Middle East, so be it.
Their heads are.The Truth said:Well, i think that brother Mujahid Mohammed and sister FVM are not in the Middle East.

Jeez, such self-righteousness. I know that during Ramadan, the days are devoted to fasting and reflection. But when the sun goes down, the evenings are devoted to celebration and family and generosity towards strangers. I would be surprised if there were no singing involved. There was certainly music at the Iftars that I've been to.not4me said:You should be surprised! On the other side, there are some "muslims" (i don't know what to call them) thought that Ramadan is the month of amusement, so if you went to the mosques searching for them, you wouldn't find them, instead you would find them at the nightclubs, drinking, smoking and watching some naked girls dancing...i can tell you those are few but unfortunately they r present! If they only knew that Ramadan is the month of forgiveness...!!!
But are the second gruop like the first one?!
Would God look at the second one like the first!?!
Which is why I view Djamila's presence on RF as such a blessing. As a non-Muslim, I make no judgement as to who holds the correct view and who does not, but I am happy to see a diversity of views represented here.fullyveiled muslimah said:I must admit Paul that I am just as confused by some of Djamila's posts as you are. I think my brothers and sisters will agree with me here. The way bosnians observe "Islamic" practices is strange to us because we do not share the same culture, nor do we view Islam the same way.
