Women are more by the book; keepers of the family traditions. Whereas men tend to improvise more often which may show up as an inertia contrary to traditions. Girls do better in school on the average since they are willing to accept the tangible. The boys are more restless, breaking the rules. The lost husband wants to find the location on his own, while his wife wishes to ask for tangible directions.
By the book is based on repeating something already tangible, i.e., material, and acceptable. Improvising is base on using something in the air; spirit, that may or may not yet be acceptable.
Most of your explorers and investors are male, because males more often live in a secondary reality within their imaginations; dreams and ambitions, that may not be tangible or acceptable at first. Once the idea is made tangible and/or acceptable, the female is more than willing to accommodate the brain child of the bad boy or the good boy.
The majority of merchandise in culture is invented or designed by men, while women are the largest consumers of these tangible things. Your main prophets are male, and once they are accepted by culture, mothers are the main ones who perpetuate the tangible traditions.
The spirit of God created natural creation, which is then tended to by mother nature. This is collective human symbolism that has been conditioned into the human brain through instinct.
There is a twist, that you appear to sense. Men and women both have male and female DNA. We are all formed by combining male and female DNA, from our parents. In a male, his 50% female DNA is not inert but rather helps to define the male's female side. Women, in a similar way, have a masculine side from their father's DNA.
The female side of a male can make a male moody or emotional, while the male side of a female can make her more animated and exacting. At this level of unconscious personality dynamics the woman contains the male principle; spirit, and the male husband is the matter. The wife; masculine side, creatively decorates her house, while her husband female side, moodily, integrates it.
If you go even deeper into the human unconscious mind, the roles switch again and male again is spirit; timeless, and the female is matter or mother nature; natural. This spirit is less cultural and temporal but more timeless. This spirit decorates culture and human nature.
