Okay, I really don’t desire to keep arguing with you if that is your perspective. You are certainly free to have your own view and thoughts on the matter. There are those who have been involved in Freemasonry which see things differently and I think they have the freedom to their views on the subject their experiences, too.

I can say unequivocally that both accounts are highly biased and display a highly personal perspective, and not an objective assessment.

The Holy Ghost can only do what we allow, accept, comprehend or endure.

After all the arguments, for most religious people (not just LDS), the final reason is "I had a spiritual witness that my faith is true".
Just curious, what do you make of other religious groups who also "feel the spirit"

Test them. Thats what a lot of people don't do . They get the warm and fuzziness and think that must be God . The bible warns against this .
1 John 4:1

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Testing is very good. I’d recommend it for everyone. That being said, I know folks whom have tested and reached different conclusions from each other, including myself. But still, listening to God and testing according to the Spirit is the#1 approach I would recommend.
