Right. Only long term hard-line NRA Trump Sheeples should be doing it.
You try so hard to not get it.
Gun ownership is a big responsibility.
Take it seriously.
Don't buy angry or fearful.
Be liberal, conservative, or other....but think peace & training.

This guy is a fringe lunatic, like everyone on right wing Christian TV. The left doesn't need to be "fully armed," that just grants this guy's narrative that we're actually about to go to war with each other. We need to learn how to engage in constructive conflict and de-escalation in this country, desperately.
Yes, agreed. Thanks to @sun rise for sharing the story but, I must emphatically agree with Left Coast here.

Let’s be “fully armed” with ballots and vote as early as possible.

Yea, let BLM (and others) who loot, burn buildings and beat people out of Jail but when the public tires of such things and take a stand we should punish them

The preacher is speaking from a position of DEFENSE.

We are tired of all the so called "peaceful protesters" who burn loot and kill.

That would be heiferdust.
...In a report released Thursday, the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED) analysed over 7750 BLM demonstrations in the US between May 26 and August 22.

The vast majority were reported as "peaceful" while fewer than 220 protests were reported as "violent demonstrations".

Violent demonstrations included protesters targeting other individuals or property, fighting back against police, vandalism, property destruction, looting, road-blocking, burning materials or toppling statues of colonial figures. ..

So over 93% are peaceful but this person is speaking, according to you, from a "position of defense." Bull****!

There is nothing wrong with revolution...

Unless it's your home that gets burned down by the revolutionaries.

Unless it is your wife and daughter who get raped by the revolutionaries.

Unless it is your son who is abducted by the revolutionaries and forced to join them.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

For defense of course.

Gun sales are through the roof.
I plan on getting a new shotgun. There something to be said for old men with shotguns.

I also have loads of fun shooting clay pigeons. ;0]

Are you confusing "revolution" with "instigating Mad Max-style post apocalypse"?

Also, included among the "non-peaceful" ones are ones that "fight back against police", "block roads" or "burn materials".

I would be very curious to dive deeper into what exactly those things entail and whether or not an actual onlooker would consider them "non-peaceful".

In a country worthy of revolution, you wouldn't even know if it was the revolutionaries or the government - except when you are part of the problem.

All of these things happened to civilians during the American Revolutionary War at the hands of the Sons of Liberty and the Continental Army, and yet Americans to this day consider that war worthy of celebration.

No. I know the difference between real life revolutions and movies. Perhaps you should Google: How many dead in ______ revolution.

That doesn't mean that revolution in and of itself is a bad thing. You could equally Google "How many dead in world war 2". It doesn't mean that the war itself, and the subsequent overthrow of the Nazi regime, was not ultimately a good thing.

What's more, revolution against tyranny, by and large, PROTECTS PEOPLE rather than harming them.

Also, non-violent revolutions are a thing:

Nonviolent revolution - Wikipedia.

The idea that revolution in and of itself is violent, or that revolutionaries are rapists, is just nonsense.

Unless of course we are non-violent. Either way you chop it up it's better than Trunp and his supporters.
