Question about worshipping

rational experiences

Revelation 22:9 9But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!"

John 4:21 21"Woman," Jesus replied, "believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

Revelation 19:10 10At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus."

The term God in my life is the scientific male brother reasoning. Seeing my brother Jesus harmed by science said so. The body/planet stone. One. Worship God, the presence of stone in your life.

Knowing our Holy Father, is to worship God. For Father, is our Father and we are the human spirit. And he taught us to honour the Holy Mother teachings....life on Earth.

To worship...
the feeling or expression of reverence, in a spiritual life is just naturally expressed, therefore we do not seek to worship falsely. For God is also just natural.

And if you understood that teaching then no human would be seeking God...when God already exists.

Many religions practicing workshop of a God or deity, but my question is.

Do you expect the God or deity to save you, just by your devotion of worshipping the God/deity?
Or do you have to do as asked from the teaching to gain the salvation/ access to paradise?

With do as asked i mean cultivate your morality, ethics and so on.
I use what's called "prayerful meditation", which is less words and more contemplation.

The Jewish religion is based on 10 moral codes.
These are the core of most of the social rules we have today.
Acting against them will not get anyone to a good place. either here, or wherever.
But once one understands why, he will probably won't act against them anyways.
Most people, btw, accept almost all those codes.
I think there is a debate only about the 4th and the 6th.
The first one, btw, is unbreakable.

In my belief heaven is more related to the condition of the soul. If we are closer to God our lives will show it.... that is we will live closer to the Divine guidance and our devotion to the Supreme Being will also be part of this.

In my sect of Hinduism that’s really all it takes.

Even those who are considered the most immoral of all sinners can cross over this ocean of material existence by seating themselves in the boat of divine knowledge. Bhagavad Gita 4.36 Here, the “ocean of material existence” is pretty self-explanatory, being life with all its miseries, the joys we experience contribute to suffering and misery via attachment; the “boat of divine knowledge” refers to being dedicated to Sri Krishna, meditating on Him, keeping Him in one’s heart.

Always think of me, be devoted to me, worship me, and offer obeisance to me. Doing so, you will certainly come to me. This is my pledge to you, for you are very dear to me. Bhagavad Gita 18.65 It’s said if you take 1 step towards God, He takes 10 steps towards you.
So you can be a serial killer and still be saved? There's ethical requirements, I imagine, right?

In Christianity earth is corrupted place ever since Adam. It is a place lying outside of God's realm. It is thus not physically and actively maintained by God. It is in contrary under the deep influence of Satan, a much more intelligent and capable being. Humans are more or less futile in front of Satan's influence under his best effort in keeping humans under his captivity. Worshiping God is thus crucial in building a bonding between one and God in order to counter Satan's effort. To put it another way, you will most likely be led away by the influence of Satan if you do not worship God on a regular basis. Only based on that you can be in a position closer to God in order to comprehend what can be referred to as the teachings or dogmas or theology whatsoever. This is one of the many purposes of the existing of God's Church on earth. The Bible describes our world as a place where God's sheep are scattered in a wilderness (while a wilderness is never a peaceful place but full of wild beasts).

Well said.....
This is a very good description of why God seems to be missing in this world. An idea that satan has promoted in order to keep his recruits from straying.

God handed world rulership over to the god that humans chose, to prove satan’s claims that humans are better off making their own independent decisions, like he did.....so even though God appears to be absent, he has provided all we need to get to know him and to understand our situation in order to take hold of his hand....the one stronger than the tiger we seem to be constantly fighting.

His hand will be offered any time we are weakened by the continual horrendous events that occur in our lives, and in the world that are designed by the devil to break us....but only if we seek God’s help and are trying with everything in us to keep a firm hold on our faith in him. It is a great comfort to know that his strength is always available to us. (2 Corinthians 4:7-9)

If we let go of his hand, we will fail to qualify for life in the new world to come. (Matthew 6:9-10)
