Years ago an old farmer told me how to hunt crows. He said you need two guys to walk out into the corn field. After you both sit down, one of you get up and walk out. The crows will immediately come back and you start blazing away.
"You see," he said, "crows are real smart, they just can't count."

Yet in fact, crows can indeed count. Up to about 6, maybe more.
