Same applies for you and anyone else too far down the rabbit hole to think otherwise. I’m open to anything. Perhaps some would still not be convinced.
You don't seem very open, frankly.

You’re very wrong here with this assumption.
Sure I am.

Science is curved water and sideways and upside down stuff? Anyone can make the mathematics work for sphere or flat ~ even the brightest of minds have said this and know this.
I don't know what you're trying to say here.

You’re just another gaslighter as well. I don’t think that you’re very cool as you try to be just to fit in. You’re naive and gullible to believe what anyone tells you and incapable of hearing anything alternative.

Keep believing in curved water, and sideways and upside down living. Sounds intelligent.

‘Some psychological needs.’ Yeah, you’re certainly a great gaslighter.
Do you actually want to engage with this discussion or not?

According to Barkun, the appeal of conspiracism is threefold:

  • "First, conspiracy theories claim to explain what institutional analysis cannot. They appear to make sense out of a world that is otherwise confusing.
  • Second, they do so in an appealingly simple way, by dividing the world sharply between the forces of light, and the forces of darkness. They trace all evil back to a single source, the conspirators and their agents.
  • Third, conspiracy theories are often presented as special, secret knowledgeunknown or unappreciated by others. For conspiracy theorists, the masses are a brainwashed herd, while the conspiracy theorists in the know can congratulate themselves on penetrating the plotters' deceptions."[53]
Conspiracy theory - Wikipedia

There's also the idea that conspiracy theories - which includes flat eartherism - also provide reassurance in a weird way: the idea that everything is controlled by secret conspirators implies that we have less to fear from random misfortunes: even an evil secret plan is still a plan, so if the reasoning behind the plan can be inferred, then this knowledge can be used to keep a person safe. This can be a source of comfort for a person who otherwise would feel vulnerable and powerless.

You are ignorant and attention seeking.

A group of Flat Earthers trying to prove earthy flatness got a big dose of comes-aroundness when the $20,000 gizmo they purchased for that purpose kept coming up “round.” They could have spent far less with the same result by using a Magic 8-Ball … if those were flat. What does karma have against Flat Earthers? Let’s find out.

How do you determine what is the right way up in space?

In other words, how do you know you're NOT upside-down?

According to many from their location ~ I am upside down. While my vehicle, animals, these buildings, signs, etc. are all glued by gravity while birds and insects and gas/smoke, and balloons, helicopters, aero planes, the mass of clouds, etc. are all not affected.

I haven't seen ISIS, but I have certainly seen numerous satellites. In fact, I think I have seen several every night I have done serious observation. They move fast enough that getting a bead on them with a telescope is almost impossible but sometimes you can catch one in binoculars.

Two questions:
1. How dark is the site where you are observing? You probably won't see many through city lights.

2. Do you actually look at the sky as opposed to just through the telescope?
I have seen satellites with the naked eye. That was while in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Shortly after sunset one can see them. It helps when you are not anywhere near an urban area. To see them with an amateur telescope would be almost impossible since, as you pointed out, they move too fast to track by hand.

Seriously, is this really the level of your argument, really? Also, please answer my question here: #213.

Who said those are not affected by gravity? They most certainly *are* affected. But they also all generate a lift force to counteract the force of gravity. The two forces are in opposite directions and cancel out.

So whether or not something is upside-down or sideways is relative, so there really is no such thing on a spherical earth.

In common with creationists - this shows a staggering ignorance of what the science you are disagreeing with actually says.
