It is communication process, media between Men and God.If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
Well, I don't think I can really go wrong so I'm just going to take a shot.If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
Jesus wasn't a Trinitarian. If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?

There is no difference. There is only one God. The holy Spirit is the presence and anointing of God.If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
The spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge.....(Isa 11)If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
The holy spirit is the power from God that he has used to accomplish his will from the beginning. Whatever God wants done, he sends his spirit to carry it out. It was God’s spirit that he used in creation.
It empowers God’s servants to overcome trials....gives them wisdom when they pray for it....recalls to their minds what is written in his word....and gives comfort and strength in times of trouble.
It gave God’s servants in ancient times the ability to perform miracles.....even Jesus needed the holy spirit to give him the ability to perform miracles, as we see from his baptism. It is sent where it is needed.
Moses was leading the Israelites after their release from Egyptian slavery and finding it difficult on his own, so it was suggested to him to chose 70 qualified men to assist him in that task. The Bible says that God took the spirit that he has given to Moses and apportioned it among the 70. This shows that God’s spirit is not a person, but God’s power that he uses to accomplish his will. It is given in due measure.
The spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge.....(Isa 11)
The spirit of God is wisdom, knowledge and power.
God is the Father alone. In other words, you shall have no other gods before ME! ME is singular person.
Let me ask from a JW perspective. What is god?
Instead of his characteristics [love, compassion, etc. Not his role, creator etc.] but what exactly is he?
Is he a deity, like a ghost?
I ask because god is spirit [right?] and why/how can spirit send another spirit to interact with humans?
In other words, that "force of life" or that breathe that created things into being, is that the creator? The holy spirit? Is it "breathe/force" personified? What is the necessity of both if they are both spirit?
No human on earth knows "what" God is (apart from Jesus).....we only know "who" he is....the Creator of all things that exist. Do we need to know more...could we comprehend it anyway?
That is all we know for sure. God's servants of old were given glimpses into the heavenly realm and found it hard to describe in human terms. Spirit beings can cross over into our world, but we cannot cross over into theirs without extreme modification. Mortal bodies are designed to only live within the confines of this earth.
All of them refer to that which is invisible to human sight and gives evidence of force in motion.
In the Bible the holy spirit is personified, but then so is wisdom, death, sin, and undeserved kindness.
The Bible says that "God is a spirit"...i.e. an intangible lifeform. But he possesses power which the Bible also calls his spirit.
However, Greek grammar requires masculine pronouns when the activity of “the helper” is described, since the word for “helper” is in the masculine gender.
I find God places or gives His holy spirit to whom He wishes for a purposeful need such as found at Numbers 11:17, 25.If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?

In the English language spirit has more than one meaning.
Pre-human Jesus was a spirit creation, and we are physical creation.
Not a ghost (apparition) but God is a person as per Hebrews 9:24 when resurrected ascended-to-heaven Jesus appeared before the 'person' of God.
Unlike God and Jesus being persons, God's spirit is impersonal like the power from a power-plant grid supplying energy when and where needed.- Nehemiah 9:20
There are no immaterial spirits!I read this three or four times. What do you mean by person if not human?
What is god as a person that he is not a spirit?
If God is our God.And Jesus is our savior. Why do we need the Holy Spirit to be our comforter? Can't God And Jesus just do that by themselves?
There are no immaterial spirits!
Man was created in the image of God. God is in heaven. He has a location, His back was seen by Moses, but not His face. His spirit emanates from His person and can be put on others.
Sectarian churches follow after the philosophers, not Scripture.
God is a spirit and also has a spirit. His spirit emanates from Himself, His person. What do you mean by "his spirit" though?
Is he a spirit?
God is a spirit and also has a spirit. His spirit emanates from Himself, His person.
Being a spirit does not mean he is immaterial. He is not.
