To whom, what person, should Christians pray?

It is my understanding that Christians are only supposed to pray to God, the Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and never to any other god, thing, graven image or person.

I think it depends on the nature of a prayer. It can be to guardian angel if it is a supplication. Meditative prayers are to The Father.

One way to a person to become a saint is for 2 people to have miraculous cures after praying to that person after their death.

Make of that what you will.

That depends on whether you take the Bible as the word of God or the church's?

1 Timothy 2:5....
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus."

I can't see any others mentioned....can you?

Catholics don’t pray TO saints — they pray THROUGH saints.
