Pride Of The Republicans: Our President, The Liar

My father-in-law love Trump. He just loves it when Trump acts like a STRONG a hole to people who do not share his opinions. He just loves it when Trump is the loudest bully in the room. I think he see's himself in Trump. And if Trump ever gets respected then he would be respected.
I think there is a lot of this sentiment in both the right and left of politics today .

Nope. It's a public service for all the good Christian Republicans out there who might think god gives a thumbs-up to lying. According to the Bible, he don't. :D

.

Jacob the Deceiver (Genesis 25:19-34; 27:1-41)
Jacob tricked his brother Esau into giving him the birthright of the firstborn. This is a nice Biblical story good Christian Republican supporters could use to justify Trump's deceitfulness for obtaining power.

By a very corrupted reading of "good", you mean?

I guess there are always excuses available when people stoop low enough.

If you oversimplify and stretch things a bit, and then squint at it... maybe.
What the POTUS decides about the Mediterranean area is what I'm interested in.
If Trump's home policies are not satisfying and do not match the common good, this saddens me, of course but I need to think of my country first

Not only did Jacob trick his brother Esau into giving him his birth right.
Through deception, pretending to be his brother Esau, Jacob received his blind father Isaac's blessing. The Biblical God still respected this blessing and rewarded Jacob with his father's estate. In some cases, the Biblical God seems very forgiving of deception. If I were a religious man, I'd think Donald Trump is POTUS through divine providence.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

And lot had sex with both his daughters. By your logic, does that make incestuous sex OK?

Were I a Christian, I would hate it if people thought me capable of saying such things.

As things are, I am sorry for Christians that they have to be in such a situation.

It's not hypocrisy if he doesn't profess to believe in or follow it. However, it does highlight the hypocrisy of those who do profess to believe in and follow the bible, yet abide Trump's immoral behavior.

Who's it gonna be? Trump or Jesus? Their values are very clearly diametrically opposed, so you cannot have it both ways. Do you really believe god abides your double standards?
ALWAYS Jesus.

And I disagree with your position.

Incestuous sex is immoral in cases where offspring are produced, because this can lead to an increased probability of genetic diseases occurring within the offspring of parents who are biologically closely related. I

"A high frequency of fumarase deficiency exists among the 10,000 members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a community which practices both endogamy and polygyny, where an estimated 75 to 80% of the community are blood relatives of just two men—founders John Y. Barlow and Joseph Smith Jessop."

Founder effect - Wikipedia

"The Colorado City/Hildale area has the world's highest incidence of fumarase deficiency, an extremely rare genetic condition. Geneticists attribute this to the prevalence of cousin marriage between descendants of two of the town's founders, Joseph Smith Jessop and John Yeates Barlow. It causes encephalopathy, severe intellectual disability, unusual facial features, brain malformation, and epileptic seizures."

I support the Law where nobody more closely related than third cousins can have sexual intercourse with each other.

I could be mistaken, but I think somewhere in the New Testament, Jesus may have opposed incestuous relationships.

Do you have any evidence of it in the left? Any example at all?
Well plenty of people cheered for Maxine Waters in her push back speech. If memes are anything to go by plenty of people cheer for attacks on republicans. I am pretty sure that people still parrot Hillary's basket of deplorables comment. I qould honestly venture to say that if you cannot see people on the left love disrespectful comments of the right then you have some bias issues.

I will happily live with that criticism, because I see no substance whatsoever to it.
