you believe God created the heavens and the earth? 2) Do you believe that we was created in God's image? 3) Do you believe that Satan was kick out of heaven and angels followed him? If yes to these 3 things then you believe in the pre existence for they all happened before we came to this earth! So if your not Mormon as I am. You should ask your preacher these same questions. I would like to hear what is said. Also google it I have? I makes me sad the road to which it leads. Yet they don't think of what I just asked you.

Revelation 12:7-12
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Genesis 1:26-27 King James Version
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

I believe Psalms was correct....Man was made a little less than the angels

and God said to the angels .....Chase after Man
that he stub not his toe nor dash his head....

and the devil fell for saying ....nay.....
and one third of heaven followed

they want us dead

two thirds of heaven lost their brothers for the same argument
they might not care

are you assuming? you are .....safe

Genesis 1
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Hello, Jack. Welcome to RF. I believe those things because I, too, am LDS. I hope you will find that you can contribute to this forum without proselytizing, because proselytizing will get you banned. Also, I hope you will enjoy learning as well as teaching, because it's just as important an endeavor.

Yes I know that. Whats your point? I asked questions that are in the bible. They do bring you to a conclusion. Is that your problem?

I'm trying to dissuade you from proselytizing and preaching. That's the point. I was hoping to do it without reporting you to the mods for punishment, but if you don't want to listen, I'll have no choice.

I said what I said. I am new here and I asked a question and it appears that that isn't aloud. That being the case what is the point of being here?

I can offer useful advice here.
Your posts feel more like an advertisement than a
conversation. I recommend concentrating on the latter.
You'll have more fun too.

You question is allowed. Your preaching is not. But go ahead and don't listen. It's your call.

So I asked 3 things and offered scripture to those same 3 questions. If you have more to add I get it. none of you are offering me anything but how I'm doing it wrong. So that said I am going to work and forgetting that I was here.

My answers....
No.
No.
No.
Don't give up on us just because you stepped on a rule in your first thread.
I did the same thing, although a different rule (against dissing my old forum).
If I can survive here, then I'm sure you can too.
It just takes becoming acclimated.

Posting Bible scripture with no commentary is considered both proselytizing and spam, which are in violation of two of forum rules.

Here's a link for your convenience. RF Rules

I think this is as much latitude as you'll get before you are officially reported for rule violations.

Jack, welcome to the forum.

I believe God creates the heavens and the earth. I believe God creates all the images of the universe. We are therefore definitely God’s image.

The angels and heaven thing is a bit tough. I believe the bible is in large part metaphorical. I believe the manner of our spiritual growth is described metaphorically by the casting out of heaven of Satan and his angels. Michael’s battle seems to infer that that we don’t have to go it alone. I find that comforting.

I thought you were referring to my individual pre existence.

But to your other questions,
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. No.

It’s hard to follow what you’re saying, but I think you’re Mormon.
So do you know who Jesus was?
Do you know who the Father is?
Do you know what Jesus said?
Do you study His words and works?
Do you do your best to make yourself like Him?

That’s all that counts. If you got that, you’re doing fine.
No need to be concerned with pre existence.
Don’t get hung up on too much church doctrine, just stick with the guy who your church is named after. God bless.
