Evil among us

Not at all. God was very real and present during the poisoned fruit ordeal. But after mankind's estrangement it was necessary for A&E to know that God is not found in the runaround of the physical world.
and having lost His presence.....would they not consider the situation a punishment?
a rejection.....
a sin on their part

and if they go on with their lives under a misconception.....
is that God's fault?

having made acquisition....know good and evil....

the upgrade was complete
the garden had served it's purpose

out into the environment

and God ....having already given Man dominion on a large scale
would now stand back and let the upgrade run it's course

but the specimens would be on their own
to earn their keep by the sweat of their brow

really a punishment?
or just interpreted that way

Whether it was punishment or something else was irrelevant because they were in the position they were in no matter what you call it.

so tear down the fence?.....draw no line at all?

did someone lie during the event of the garden?
(I don't think so)

and death is not evil?.....not a punishment?....not a harm?

How can anyone know what is evil?
I'm not done kicking this around....

I say.....ask of the devil a good thing
He might do it
and he will expect your soul in return

Ask of God a good thing
He might do it
and He will expect your soul to return

any difference?

Evil is man's inherent lack of faith (original sin) that God is in control, God purposely made us this way. Add faith and we suddenly realize that evil (sin death and the power of the devil) never really was. But Faith is a gift to us at a time and place of God's choosing not ours.

So you ask what is the difference between good and Evil? Faith. Nothing more and nothing less.

so no evil to perceive?....as if it never was...

might go for that, if you can agree....there was no evil in the garden event
not on God's part
not on Adam or Eve

what about the serpent?
evil intent?.....deception?

and is it not written?
he (the devil) shall be at your heel

isn't the devil among us?

BROTHER, there was no evil in the garden, everything is according to God's perfect plan both then, now, and forevermore. I'm a servant of the Lord, nothing more and nothing less. As are you. Whether you realize it (yet) or not.
