Where is the HS?
as Jesus said:

38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

For you are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Have you received the Holy Spirit?

Acts 19:
1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples
2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

Acts 10:
46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,
47 “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

Acts 8
15When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16 because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Most people use the word "God" wrong. What they mean is the .Heavenly Father. Jesus and the Father are separate "beings" but together they make up the one God. Many people believe in a trinity in which there is one God made up of three "beings" Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each one is different but together they are God. The Father allowed His Son to be tempted to prove that He was God and could overcome temptation.

No... God is three parts, Father, The Word and His Holy Spirit

Therefore, man is made in His image and likeness (and not the opposite)

You are getting close.

Is the Father the Son?
Is the Son the HS?
Is the HS the Father?
If you answer YES - That would be weird like this:
upload_2017-5-13_12-23-13.jpeg

If you answer NO - you have 3 gods

That would be against Christ teachings:
Jesus answered, “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one;

Other religions have the Trinity and that is how the dead bishops of Nicea adopted the pagan concept of God and apostatized the first century Church of Christ.

upload_2017-5-13_12-14-34.jpeg

An example is Ayyavazhi Trinity which surprisingly this might be your line of thought

Akilam narrates that the Avatar (incarnation) of Vaikundar is the combination of three dimensions of God and it happens in three stages.
Ayyavazhi Trinity - Wikipedia

I think you have adopted the Hindu Trinity in your so called "Christian" beliefs. What is not Christian is pagan.

My God is in the Bible just one and only - taught by my Lord Jesus himself:

John 17:1-3
New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)

After Jesus had spoken these words, he looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

Americans are English speaking people, am I correct? When you say ONLY what does that mean? It means exclusive, isn't it? So the Father is the only true God. There is no way around it, that was spoken by Jesus himself.

What must you believe to have eternal life - the 318 dead bishops of Nicea and Emperor Constantine (who are all long dead) OR should you believe Christ Jesus (who sits at the right hand of God)?

Your choice, your soul.

Another doctrine manufactured in now the present day Turkey in 381 A.D. The verses you mentioned do not even suggest the HS is God.

Somewhere in Portugal there is a cult about this.
Cult of the Holy Spirit - Wikipedia
The cult of the Holy Spirit (Portuguese: Culto do Divino Espírito Santo), also known as the cult of the Empire of the Holy Spirit (Culto do Império do Divino Espírito Santo), is a religious sub-culture, inspired by Christian millenarian mystics, associated with Azorean Catholic identity, consisting of iconography, architecture, and religious practices that have continued in many communities of the archipelago as well as the broader Portuguese diaspora. Beyond the Azores, the Cult of the Holy Spirit is alive in parts of Brazil (where it was established three centuries ago) and pockets of Portuguese settlers in North America. The cult of the Holy Spirit involves traditional rituals and religious celebrations of these faith communities.

Nowhere in the Bible that explicitly says that the Holy Spirit is God.

There is no single verse of the Bible that says that the Holy Spirit is God, nor that the Holy Spirit is the “third person of the trinity.” The word “Trinity” itself is unbiblical or cannot be found in the Bible. The Holy Spirit cannot be the “third person of the one true God” because the doctrine that God is consists of three persons (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) is against the teachings of the Bible. The Bible explicitly teaches that there is only one true God and there is no other God besides Him:

“Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me.” (Isaiah 46:9, NKJV)

My God is not a pagan god. And man's worship of pagan gods crept into the first century Church of Christ that is why you have the Trinity doctrine.

How Ancient Trinitarian Gods Influenced Adoption of the Trinity

Perishing people compare the only true God with other pagan gods like the Trinity when he already said there is none like Me.

upload_2017-5-13_13-26-54.jpeg

there was the trinity of Osiris, Isis, and Horus

upload_2017-5-13_13-28-10.jpeg

the trinity of Amen, Mut, and Khonsu

God is not like that.

I hope not... that would be weird..

But the THREE make up your ONE. Because it is made in the image and in the likeness of God.

Really? I thought I quoted scripture. Are you saying that scripture was manufactured in Turkey in 381AD

The verses you mentioned do not even suggest the HS is God.

Are you saying that it is someone OTHER than God that inhabits His Temple our bodies?

Are saying the one who anointed Jesus is not God?

Are you saying the one who teaches all things and the one who if you blaspheme is not God?

Who is He?

Are saying the one who anointed Jesus is not God?

Are you saying the one who teaches all things and the one who if you blaspheme is not God?

Who is He?

The Father alone is the One True God and the Holy Spirit is different from the Father.

The Lord Jesus taught that the Father alone is the true God:

“Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You…
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (John 17:1, 3, NKJV)

He also taught the Holy Spirit is different from the Father:

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26, NKJV)

The Holy Spirit is sent by the Father in Jesus’ name. Thus, if the Holy Spirit is God there will be two Gods: the Father who sent the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit whom the Father sent in Jesus’ name.

Thus, the Holy Spirit cannot be God because the Lord Jesus Christ clearly taught that the Father alone is the true God and the Holy Spirit is different from the Father.

Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

If Jesus was God, why was he tempted by the Devil? Can God be tempted by the Devil, his own creation?

Granted, he passed the test. But if he was God... Why was there a test in the first place? Does God need to test himself?

Are God and Jesus really one in the same? Please answer logically how this is possible given the verse above.
Yes Jesus was tempted by the devil according to scripture.
The devil tempted Jesus, but Jesus was not tempted, which of course is why Jesus passed "the test".
Why do you ask "Does God need to test himself", when you know very well that it was the devil who was trying to tempt Jesus, not God tempting Jesus.

I personally do not know if Jesus and God are one in the same entity. I suppose I don't believe that they are. I believe that one is the physical manifestation of the other, and not exactly one in the same.

We know that Jesus and God do not always agree. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus directly stated that his will was in opposition to the will of the Father. Remember that Jesus "fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Satan knew exactly who Jesus was. He knew that Jesus had free will and the ability to make His own choices. And he knew that if he could cause Jesus to fall from the path, God's plan would have been destroyed. And so Satan tempted Him, but Satan failed.

The Lord Jesus taught that the Father alone is the true God:

The problem is that you are using your soul to interpret a spiritual truth. Spiritual truth's are spiritually discerned.

You are comparing Jesus who had emptied Himself of His glory while on this earth that the Father gave back to Him when He resurrected.

It's quite simply, really...

Before He was Jesus, He was The Word...

IN THE BEGINNING was The Word, The Word was with God, The Word WAS GOD.

Simple.

The word was F-S-HS?

:D

As a matter of fact, He did.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

The reason why it is "before the world was" is because "IN THE BEGINNING was The Word, The Word was with God, The Word WAS God"!

Quite simply, really. I don't have to massage scripture to change what it says.

He emptied himself...
Conceived in the womb of Mary his mother
Then for 33 years he was not god anymore?

And for 33 years the God in heaven is the F and HS?
While the S is not god but man?
For 33 years there was no Trinity?

Every aspect of a statement must be explored to determine if that is the truth or it holds water. Otherwise it would be fiction and unscriptural. We know what is fiction and what is true - even a product undergoes quality testing as a matter of life and death; how much more a doctrine of faith - which a matter of eternal life or eternal punishment?

It is interesting how a mind and the spirit can be different and your soul can go wild:

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,

When a glass is emptied, it doesn't cease being a glass.

Well? Still waiting for your answer on:

a Catholic Spanish painting about the Trinity
hoping it could help you answer better.
Bunch of Spanish guys they are not even Middle eastern looking [três Pessoas da Santíssima Trindade tiveram na Encarnação e primeira vinda de Jesus Cristo, têm-no ainda todos os dias, duma maneira invisível, na Santa Igreja, - whatever that means]

I did answer... did you not see it? Or is your soul not comprehending? He that has ears let him hear.

When a glass is emptied, it doesn't cease being a glass.

He emptied the glass of His glory (and thus needed the Holy Spirit)... He was The Word manifested in the flesh who then was anointed by the Holy Spirit to walk as a man.

Emmanuel - God with us
Son of Man - by virtue of a created body in Mary
Son of God -- by virtue of being the first born-again by The Holy Spirit resurrected by The Father.

Quite simply, really. You yourself are a spirit, have a soul and live in a body. Three part being but still one person.

Your body is as much you as your spirit but has a different purpose and a different materiality.

The measure that you hear, will be added unto you. Remember, spiritual things are discerned spiritually and not by your soul

You said When a glass is emptied, it doesn't cease being a glass. - to answer my question:

For 33 years there was no Trinity?
When he emptied himself?

Which is actually answerable by a YES or NO

So is it a YES?
or a NO?

He emptied himself...
Conceived in the womb of Mary his mother
Then for 33 years he was not god anymore?

So is it a YES?
or a NO?

Sometimes, people would run away from answering because they don't know the answer or they would offer a complex answer because...

All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. Matthew 5:37

How could God be tempted. God is immortal, whereas the angels and humans are created as: mortals.
Satan is mortal in that Jesus will destroy Satan according to Hebrews 2:14 b.
I read that God sent his pre-human heavenly Jesus to Earth for us.
If earthly Jesus was immortal he would have also been death proof.
At death Jesus was in the grave (biblical hell) until his God resurrected Jesus according to Acts of the Apostles 3:15.
Job was Not God, and Job overcame temptations.
Satan challenges ALL of us at Job 2:4-5. Touch our 'flesh ' (loose physical health) and we would Not serve God.

I always eliminate your fluff and irrelevant stuff since it is God who justified me and not you.

The Trinity was still there. The only difference is that He left His glory and power to confront Satan on the same level as Adam and thus is called the second Adam. Still God but manifested on earth as fully man (but without sin). The reason why God had to create the body in Mary)

Some peop;e do not understand because they do not want to. Jesus was tempted to prove he was God and could resist temptation.

If Satan knows Jesus is God he would not bother to tempt him.

James 1:13
For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

Satan knowing that Jesus isn't God, but he knows he is the Son of God tempted him.

Matthew 4:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

If Satan knows he is God, he would have trembled before him, but he knows that he is the Son of God - a man sent by God.

James 2:19 New King James Version (NKJV)

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

Satan would tremble before Jesus if Jesus is God, but he tempted him - and Jesus passed.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Hebrews 4:15

So what is Jesus really?
Is he truly God and truly Man?

There will be no other resource person better to answer this but the Lord Jesus Christ himself:

John 8:40-45 New International Version (NIV)

As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the works of your own father.”

“We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

What did Jesus said?
  • He is a man
  • A man who heard the truth from God
  • A man who came from God
  • A man God sent

People who could not unable to comprehend belongs to the devil who is the father of lies.
