Have you ever met a medium?

What? Me worry?
My wife is a petite small and she doesn't allow me to see other women, so I have always had to pass on meeting mediums (or larges for that matter).

Seriously, though, my wife is 'receptive' to those that have passed. It's not a spooky thing it just comes naturally to her. Most of the time it's a quick glance and conversation with a passed loved one of someone she knows, or is physically close to her at any given time. I've gotten use to it over the years so I take it for granted.

Yes, I went to a paid medium once or twice. I was not impressed by my too vague readings. I do believe in genuine mediums from the experiences of others though.

I had one tell me that the reason I was fired from a job was that I had fired them in a past life and I should learn from this. I believed her because she took no money for her readings and because she was very down-to-earth. I also realized that I could learn that same lesson without any past life input.

Did it seem like they could communicate with the other side?

I went to a medium. I wouldn't call him a medium but he was a Santero that talked with the Orishas through divination. He divined something vague that I needed to learn more about my ancestors and not look too much into other religious paths until I make connection with them first. As for mediums with the deceased, I think they believe only the loved one can do that. I read they have ancestor ceremonies but not many in United States.

It's a cursing and a blessing! She's also highly psychic. Some mornings I ask her what I am going to be thinking that afternoon just to save myself the trouble of thinking it.

Yes ! My wife ! Plus I've seen some good mediums and I've seen bad ones(obvious fraudsters). It was early on in our relationship when my wife told me she could see a tall, well dressed man, who told her of the last conversation we had ! I had not told anyone about it so to say I was shocked would have been a huge understatement. She even told me where it happened !

We don't go to the spiritualist church because she is pestered by impatient spirits who have no patience ! She has helped friends with messages from their recently departed, and delivered messages with information she could not have known about.

A friend of mine who was also a medium once told me that my main spirit guide was a huge zulu warrior - my wife also told me this ! I don't believe - I know that there are many talented spirit communicators, and my wife is one of them !

The last medium I saw at a spiritualist church was spot on with what he told me, he told me I am bringing a study circle together and he was right !

But, and this is true for most things - you have to be aware for those who are frauds.
