One of my favorite current shows is Charmed. I don't think it gets a huge following, but it's a VERY well written show. Some of the seasons have just blown me away. Just always seems to have a great message, and just very well done. LOVE IT!
The few episodes I saw of this show were extremely inaccurate when it came to ritual magick. Maybe I just saw a couple of bad episodes...I don't know. I will agree with ChrisP though that Rose McGowen is a fine reason to watch a show. ;)

My reasons for liking this show include Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano... it has no other redeeming features.
Holly Marie Combs is my favorite. Just something very likable about her. The plot lines are incredible.

Plus, Rose McGowan drives a Cyber Green New Beetle in it. Doesn't get much better than that!

I don't have just one favourite...these are the current ones I watch every week. :p In no particular order:

~ Carnivale (although the final of that is on tonight, then it's finished for good. :sad4: Because it was written to run for 6 seasons (it only ran for 2 before getting axed), there will be many loose ends left hanging. *sigh* )
~ House
~ Lost
~ Smallville  (I've only recently started watching it...but I've always been a fan of the superhero shows/movies.)
~ NCIS
~Supernatural

Once Carnivale finishes, I'll go back to watching Criminal Intent, which is on the same night (and since I have to tape anything that's on after 8.30pm and watch it the next day, it lost out to Carnivale the last couple weeks since it came back on). There are plenty of other shows I like, and will watch if the tv is on and I've got nothing better to do, but I don't go out of my way to see them.

I'd kind of like to start watching "Lost." But if I did, I'd need somebody to fill me in on the characters and what's happening. Anybody want to do that?

I thought I had a good site bookmarked, but I have about a gazillion links in my Favourites menu now, and can't find it. You could start here though...

Law & Order: SVU
CSI
Monk

that's about all I have time for
I love Law & Order: SVU and Monk! :highfive:

I watch House (new episodes) on Tuesdays and it comes on Friday nights too. It's a tradition at my job to sit down with some of the clients to watch House on Tuesday nights. Wednesday nights we watch Bone.Even though the clients minds are on the second or third grade levels, I try to give them shows that are interesting and make them ask me questions that I cannot sometimes answer. But it's the time that I have with them that makes the shows even better. Knowing that I can share something with them and they have fun watching them.

But gotta watch Simpsons and Family guy on Sundays and when ever it comes on.

I have too many favorites :D .

Evenstar

The Wicked Christian
"Eastenders" a British soap, over here it costs $10 per month... just a small piece of home (its on tonight) :jam: I also love Fear Factor.

5. That 70s Show
6. House

We don't have tv,
but we watch

Ugly Betty
Lost
and
Desperate Housewives
on DVD and internet.

That's it, but we like em!

Smoke

Done here.
I go through phases with tv shows. "Dead Like Me" is still my favorite American show of all time. At the moment, the shows I have set to record are:
  • "Malcolm in the Middle" (the only way to get them is to record the old reruns, since the idiots at Fox have never released anything past the first season on DVD)
  • "Small Space, Big Style"
  • "Understanding"
  • "World's Most Extreme Homes"
  • "Hotel Babylon"
I also make a point of watching "Prime Minister's Questions" on C-Span.

Stargate... so many memories... thrown so many sick days to just drink coffee and watch that show. It's sad, but it's almost spiritual for me. Everytime I have a coffee I get all nostalgic about Stargate and think, "Sigh... if only it were true and I worked in the Cheyenne mountain complex".

In close second is Star Trek... followed by Life on Mars (A British drama that everyone should watch).

That's kind of how I am with The X-Files... During 8th grade I stayed up until 4:00 in the morning, on school-nights, because they had re-runs on, and I wathced them and taped them. :D Now I have seasons 2 and 6 on DVD, and the mythology episodes too... The DVDs are so expensive...

I've seen every episode though, and they are releasing a second X-Files movie this summer. I am so excited. :D
