No I'm not a fan myself, I did post a rant just now about it, but I thought I'd remove it LOL.

No I'm personally not a fan of Soccer, yourself?

Its only a Label
Friend te_lanus,

Any Soccer fans?

Used to play soccer when in school.
Yes the understanding is simple.
As a physical exercise used to play soccer, cricket, basket-ball, handball, table tennis etc. Never developed interests to follow others playing for any reason as am neither attached with any labels like state, region, country etc. Yes, rarely watch it on TV for fun and appreciate someone playing well at that moment.
Love & rgds

Me myself, I like soccer.esp. english premiership. and a bit of our local soccer as well

Te-Lanus, what is your opinion on the very "commercialized" Soccer, where it's large rich clubc buying international players?

Do you like it or think it should really just be about local players for local clubs etc, or do you care for the actual game rather than where the players are from or how rich the clubs are etc?

Just out of curiosity ^_^

I think to make money it works, but it kills local soccer, especially if one look at english soccer.

I think it should as local players will grow, but there must be power against power

I once watched a lot of soccer, but I found an even more exciting passion....watching paint dry. Such drama!

When a good chunk of games end in 0-0 scores, you know something is wrong with the set up. They need to make the goal bigger or figure out something.

I'm 100% English and Football is a boring game and yes im from Manchester! The Premiership is awful! Teams paying out millions of pounds for players who don't even want to play for the club ie Rooney.

Soccer isnt about the amount of goals scored - its so much more: its beatyfull to watch when its been done to perfection fx. when spain plays its a joy to just see them pass it around, and you can sense the amount of work and thougt put into every step they take and every pass they make. And when everything just add up, thats when a goal is scored. A goal is the sign of a set-piece done to perfection!

soccer ? no never hurd of that now football thats a cool sport

That's why you should watch the championship. Much more entertaining

I'm Scottish, and I watch your Championship every chance I get. By far the most entertaining league I've ever followed. Obviously it's being flooded with cash and caught in the hype of chasing the Premiership dream, but that only seems to have made it better. The quality on display is very high (much better than our SPL) but it's still teeming with clubs who are still responsive to their fans. Less diving and other forms of cheating than the Premiership (or La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga) too. And, it's full of Scots. :D

League 1 is also pretty decent, though I haven't seen much of League 2.

I love the premiership. I wouldn't mind watching the Championship, but being in America, I have to take what I can get, and that's not something I can get. It's gotten a lot easier to follow the Premiership in the last decade, though. Maybe at some point, I can get more than just that (and La Liga, which isn't as good, IMO).
