The earth is 13,000 years old and it is soon to be renewed when Christ comes

Dallas, I haven't used air conditioning in over 7 years, I haven't driven a car in almost 4 years, I grew up heating my father's home with a wood stove (which he paid me to do), I use flourescent lights, I use a mixture of ethanol (corn fuel) and regular gas in my bike, I buy in bulk, like 50 pound bags of wheat, which I grind myself, etc.

We have a brand new highly effecient natural gas heater though and I do buy things like milk in plastic of course, but who doesn't, and I don't work for anyone else so I don't need to go anywhere more than about once a week.

Why wouldn't I, or anyone else, want to trade this life for a paradisiacal one, like the one Adam and Eve enjoyed, which will happen very soon.

All the material things in my life have an intelligent designer behind them. Is it any less reasonable to suggest my body, the animals, the plants, this earth and this universe, also have an intelligent designer behind them as well ??

That cannot be such a hard thing to comprehend or believe, especially with so many intelligent posters here.

I find it impossible to believe big bang, evolution, etc. theories. They make no sense whatsoever, while obvserving our own universe and those universes outside our own.

Awesome..I have much respect for you..I pee in the toilet at least twice before I flush..I refuse to drink bottled water..I dont pound any wheat..or anything like that.And what do you mean you dont "work for anyone else"? How do you get your money?(are you a cave man?)

I worked for the same company for 20 years, from age 22 to 42, but the company went out of business in November of 2008. I have no retirement but have some savings.

I trade stocks on the net, using my savings, for income.

I have an account with Online Stock Trading, Discount Brokerage Firm, Investment Accounts, Stock Research, Online Broker, Retirement Investing, IRA - Scottrade and use their trading system to trade stocks for income.

Anyway I still dont see how Adam and Eve were any better?They sure seemed to mess things up..did they not?

Yes, but that can be reversed, if we become righteous again, as they (Adam and Eve) were, before they fell (decided to disobey God).

Also..how do you run your computer? Is it corn fuel too?

Are you on a generator to be on the computer?

Does corn fuel give you free internet access?


Do you have a windmill for that? Or 4,000 gerbils running round on a spinning wheel for that?

Adam and Eve didn't "fall". Adam and Eve and the garden story is an analogy of human evolution finally reaching a point where we became self-aware.

Evolution is not a stand alone theory, evolution impacts many many fields of science. We've all said it, why cant you accept it FFH?

The reason its so hard to believe is because your theories and evidence is so rediculous that a 10 year old starting science at primary school would know better. Evolution makes sense, you need to go dig a 3ft deep hole in your backyard and look at the colour of the dirt change, thats 20,000 years of evolution for you.

I have a 200 dollar extremely compact electric grinder that sounds like a jet taking off when I use it.

I do have an electric, gas, telephone/dsl, etc. bill, just like everyone else. I rent part of a house on about an acre of land, in the middle of an expensive suburb, in the heart of an LDS community.

Soon we will all be fueling our cars with waste materials, not corn.

Verenium Corporation and BP Global | BP are working together to accomplish this.
