I can guarantee you they wouldn`t be burning down the Jordanian embassy.
Your right, that's not good business... (JOKING!!! HONEST!!!)

(Idle) death threats, of course, from Pat Robertson.
Fred Phelps would be saying it's the gay's fault for envoking G-d's wrath or something similar, damn those Middle Eastern homos! He might ever fly over to picket the furnerals of some hapless Jordanians.

And maybe even an influx of hate crimes against Arab Americans after terrorist attacks and other such going-ons... We can only hope.
Yeah that sounds about right. Maybe Shrubs Master Puppeteers would decide to invade Kozoonkistan and take on their army of rabid goat herders. They army needs a soft target after the Iraqi's and Taleban... :biglaugh:

The same can be said of any stereotyped people.

At the moment, all we see is fundementalists who are stiring up trouble (simply because all the good quiet and 'genuinely good' ones don't get in the news.;)

The problem is, there is a boat load of these dangerous fundamentalists. It's not two or three, hell it's not two or three thousand.

I think these morons got this way by the culture they were raised in, I don't think it should be blamed on religion.

Islam actually means submission. Submission to the will of G-d ALONE- which is held in the Qur'an.

So yes, the Qur'an is Islam. And the Qur'an tells us to follow only the Qur'an.

Islam is what Muslims do, submit to the Qur'an.

Just what are you trying to pull here?

This doesn't make me feel all that great if the will of god is to murder heathens. I don't know that the Qur'an says that but what if someone can make a case that it does?

Submitting to the Qur'an is fine if the Qur'an is peaceful.

You can't make a case that it does.

I'm sure you could if you just cherry-picked one verse out, but you're talking about the whole Qur'an.

If bin Laden could not have used Muhammadism as easily as he did, what else would he have used. Logic and Rationality?

You should ask him, but Muhammed and the Qura'an never told us to kill innocent ppl, every religion have some sick headed ppl...
1.3billion cant be terrorists if that is your point...
they just take some verses from the Qura'an that was told in certain situations as in WAR and use it to kill people, but Muhammed and the Qura'an told us if you kill one as you have killed all of the man kind

it is really sick, to blame the deeds of some sick headed guys like bin laden on the whole religion...
I've always found that the extremist gathers strength from the moderate who never opposes the extreme position to any worthwhile degree.

and btw BINLADEN was trained by the CIA and that is a well known info, so he is not by any means a muslims, nothing in Islam tells to kill for others....

Cause we don't treat him as a Muslim... i can gurantee you that most of the Muslims don't even care about Bin Laden, cause nothing in Islam tells us to do what he is doing, so we don't care about him, he is just a lunatic

Claiming that mohammadism does not follow logic and rationality is just a not fair claim...And from an islamic percpective, Bin Laden didnt actually follow mohammadism!

Correction: It depends on which Islamic perspective you are talking about. By current estimates, between 10 and 15% of Muslims worldwide are supportive of Osama bin Hidin', so I suppose, it really depends on which Muslims one is talking to. Anyway you slice it, that is still a fairly large group of people. It should be noted that Bin Laden enjoys different levels of support in different countries, with Pakistan being one of the highest at around 51% with Lebanon, being around 2% (in 2005). Though it should be noted that support for Bin laden does seem to be softening in recent years.

The reference's summery of findings said:
Concerns over Islamic extremism, extensive in the West even before this month's terrorist attacks in London, are shared to a considerable degree by the publics in several predominantly Muslim nations surveyed. Nearly three-quarters of Moroccans and roughly half of those in Pakistan, Turkey and Indonesia see Islamic extremism as a threat to their countries. At the same time, most Muslim publics are expressing less support for terrorism than in the past. Confidence in Osama bin Laden has declined markedly in some countries and fewer believe suicide bombings that target civilians are justified in the defense of Islam.
I'd also like to quote the date of release of that report:

Released: 07.14.05

-It is not the diversity of our dogmas
But our dogmatism itself
That does the damage.
Thus, if each of us did what we are firmly persuaded
Is the will of God
The result would be utter chaos.
Certainty is the culprit.
The spiritual person knows uncertainty-
A state of mind unknown to the religious fanatic.
