  • Thanks for noticing! Just a couple so far. I'm trying to get back into it. God, I love it that you, of all people, read my blog!
Thanks. You know I always wondered if I had the guts to go into a dangerous situation for a stranger. I was afraid I didn't. I found out that I did. :)
I wanted to express my giddy delight at your most recent avatar. I just finished watching all of FLCL and was astounded at how entertaining it was.
I like your new avatar better than the old one. This looks like progress to me.
I see. I looked it up on Wikipedia and began reading the basic synopsis and was like lolwut.......

But hey, if it's light-hearted then I don't really mind a complex, twisted and confusing plot - especially if it doesn't take itself too seriously. :)

Oh Cowboy Bebop. Y' know I have actually seen that, about a year ago or so. Only watched it once through so far, but I found it very immersive. I particularly liked the attention to detail with all the environments, like the cities and space-ports etc. One detail that I'll always remember was how their pots of Instant Noodles came with water and a mini ignition flame that was activated when twisted - literally making it INSTANT noodles...... I liked that for some reason!

I also liked the sort of family dynamics with the three main characters. Good show, can't say I've seen your other suggestions though.
Ah I see. I haven't played any Final Fantasy games, but I could kinda tell just by looking at her that she was an FF'er.

Hmmm, FLCL - I've heard of it, but I haven't watched an Anime in ages. Perhaps I should give it a watch, along with Serial Experiments Lain - the other Anime on my "To Do" list. :)
I notice you've rebranded your image on RF, out of curiosity who is that character? :)

    Hope you are well.
Thanks for the hug! :) That was an awesome haiku! For some unknown reason, I have not been inspired to write for my blog. I expect that might change someday, but I have no idea when. I am turning out to be an infrequent painter. But I think that each effort I make at it is a little bit better than the previous effort. So, I am happy that I've been learning.

How have work and school been going for you?
Thanks, Lyn! I took a series of photos of her from which I drew one as a suitable reference. The expression in her eyes is something I added -- it's not in the reference photo.
Me too. I think that mostly has to do with availability of similar information, how readily available information is, etc.

I believe my outlook would have been very different if I didn't know the English language, so the kind of resources and content one has access to are definitely a factor, I think.
