  • I can be nice when I want to be. I can also be pretty snarky. You should post your pic over in the Post your Pic thread. I have to check and see if I updated mine recently.
You are also modest. Are you kidding me! You are so interesting! You are probably beautiful too! I bet you would deny it though. ^_^
Double nice! Greek and Norwegian? That is an interesting combo. As well as a little hebrew? I need to here the story of how this came to be!
ps. Thus far you are one of the most interesting people I have ever talked to.
Hehe, yeah, I would totally enjoy doing that! I'd love to go to Tibet if I could, too. I'd love to pick up some Tibetan phrases. It just seems so... so... difficult.
    That's amazing :)

So if you weren't expecting to go there, how did you end up? Did you take a last-minute vacation? That's something I'd love to do: I'd love to turn up to the airport and take the next flight with seats going (international). :D
Ohh yeah, they are beautiful. :)

Some of them can look so similar to yantras, lol. Have you ever been to an Onam celebration, then? I haven't, but I'd like to know what they are like. I don't know much about South Indian culture, sadly.
Sounds like a fun day! I like to swim, but chlorine really irritates my eyes. If I get a little bit of pool water in my eyes they start to burn and water quite a bit. It isn't normal!
My yoga class today was awesome!! This week hasn't been so bad so far. I have a self defense class tomorrow, yoga on Thursday, and Tai Chi on Friday. I am pumped!!
Polo looks hard. I hope you have time for that yoga class! You are definitely not old, haha! If I go to grad school I will still be in school when I am your age. UGH!
You should definitely read up on Sikhism. Poor path is so rarely researched, but it is a gem. I suggest going to http://www.srigranth.org to read the holy book. It is a far easier and more beautiful read than Abrahamic books, IMO.

Hinduism, I suggest going to mandir if possible. It may all come back to you again, and you will end up in love with it. With Buddhism, I suggest being careful of who you read: too many Westerners add their own nihilistic spin on Buddhism. I say that as one who has practised and researched Buddhism since 14. It is a beautiful religion, but prone to strange interpretations from Westerners.
I felt exactly the same as you. I thought to myself. "This would be nice, if I could believe in it--but I don't. This doesn't work for me." Sorry about your animal! I'm actually the opposite - I don't really shed tears easily. I think the last time I shed a tear though, was in happiness, at my second born's birth, and before that, my first born's birth. :)

Glad to hear you're looking into the Dharmic religions. Hinduism is definitely work looking into, as is Buddhism. Sikhism is one that is often overlooked, but it's a nice path if one can get over being hung up on the Khalsa--the main problem for non-Sikhs when looking at Sikhism, it seems. :)
I currently don't have net, so I've been the same. I'm okay thanks. We buried her not too long ago. It was an emotional service for everyone, but I didn't cry or anything like that. :)

I did feel out of place though, lol. I didn't realize how un-Christian I was. :D

How are your religion-y thingy thoughts going? Did you decide on anything?
Awwwwwwwwwww...Oh well. My yoga class is at 9am. That is early for me. I hope your Tai Chi class is fun! You will have to tell me about it! I think I asked you this before, but are you in college? What is temple? Is your family Jewish? The last of my long line of questions: you play polo? Tell me about it!
This may seem kind of weird since we barely know each other, but you seem like a really friendly person. If you have a Facebook account would you like to be friends? If so here is my link
