    Bonjour Erin, je m'éxcuse, je sais bien que je n'ai pas te répondu dans notre dernier discussion (ta poste a propos de méchanceté?) .     Ha! In the US it’s millennial speak (“doing the thing”) for anything we’re compelled to do, like “well I need to wake up to go do the thing tomorrow.” Also for stereotypical behavior “Erin went and did the thing again.”

    But also your interpretation sometimes too ^.^
