  • Thanks! It's been a while since I've been here. Hopefully, I'll be able to spend more time on here and learn more!
Thanks! I'll probably have to move out of home when I find work as where my parents live now there isn't much opportunity. It's scary but I'm old enough I guess.
They generally went well, though I need to work on improving some things.

Speaking of exams, I remember you mentioning that you were looking for work after graduating; how did that go? Have you found a (non-temporary) job yet?
    Really? Let me check...

    Visitor messages scanned. PMs scanned.

    Account status: Awesome.

(See? I can do it too. If only I were around back then... :p)
Thank you! No, I am an amateur and extremely unfunny. But I got a punch of jokes written down.
Oh neat. I wish I was done with school. Still have 15 accounting classes or so... ZzzZZzz. I moved states so I could come play music and do comedy in the big(ger) city! Also boredom.
New city, state. From Pensacola, FL to Austin, TX! Weee!

You still gots schools? What's your major?
    Haha :D

I'm just enjoying that everyone would imagine me in a possibly different way. Trying to lengthen that phase as much as possible.

Sooner or later though i'll have to crash everyone's visions with raw, disturbing real world footage.
Oh god no! Forget that i ever said i look like him then.

That is only setting me up for disappointing. It's better to imagine me like a mutilated monster. A bear perhaps, or a gorilla, which has too many scratches and bites on it's face.

That way, i actually have a chance of surpassing expectations. :D
    Hi there!

I'm doing well. My midterms start next week, so I've been getting ready for them and revising, etc.

I've also started to reduce my consumption of meat to prepare myself for a completely vegetarian diet. I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out. :D

How are you? Have you graduated and/or started work yet?
Getting a decent paying job in general is hard here. :D

Especially without university qualifications. Call centers are probably the only exception i'm aware of for a certain reason. There are many call centers that are based in other countries, where you work here (in Egypt), but make calls to the US or the UK for example. Because of this English and certain skills are the most important factors in hiring for these call centers, though some of them still require finishing university (not specifically for the degree though, more like because they're worried about it interfering with the job performance).

Things have also gotten a bit harder after the revolution.

As for fun things, well all sorts of things. :D

You can probably find almost anything here in Egypt, it's just a question of expense and availability.
Thanks and congratulations (both on finishing uni and on working).

I'm about to apply for a job in sales in a call center while i'm still in uni. I'm looking to make some money, learn a few things, and change my life style a little bit. I'm excited about the possibility of getting the job. Wish me luck, and feel free to share any tips (if you have any). :D

Good to know that the activity in your life has generally increased. I go out quite a lot, but i'm not involved in any beneficial activities, unfortunately. Looking forward to doing that too.
