  • I'm guessing harder - acts like a kid, but weighs 4-5 times more. :D
I've been married twice. My live-in GF and I have a great relationship but probably won't cross the marriage line for a few years.
Thanks. Of course, not too many people shave their head as merely a fashion statement. :D

Age has taken toll on my hair, but hats winter and 30SPF suntan lotion in summer help mitigate the issue.

On another note, how hard/easy is it to juggle a job and two kids? I never had any kids so it was never a factor.
I buzz cut my head with electric barber clippers during the winter, but during the summer will shave it every few days. My profile picture was taken a couple of months ago and it shows the clipper haircut.
Sounds like you had a great time. Sorry if I appeared forward. What were you doing or looking at in the picture?
Yeah, although people are now paranoid that Britain will be kicked out of the European Union now. Hopefully not. ;)

Ja, kamelåså. :D Og rødgrød med fløde.
I really like the studyindemnark one. It looks so awesome. :D
    Shame Danish looks so difficult!
I just saw your message to me on here! I was coming to ask you something else. Jag studerade svenska i universitet. Not for very long, but I did it nonetheless. ;)

Anyway, I was going to ask you... jag vill studerar i sverige; hur gör jag det? I think that's right. Been a while. :D I just have no real idea how to, well, do it. How would I do it if I wanted to do it in Denmark? (Only reason I'm thinking Sweden is because I know some Swedish) :D
Bokmål actually means book language. When Denmark and Norway one one country danish was the administrative language and the one used in law texts and spoken in towns and cities.
We are talking about once upon a time when danish was still an understandable language ;)
This language is what turned into standard norwegian/bokmål and it is very similar to danish, especially when written.

Nynorsk means new norwegian but isn't really new, it is just the norwegian spoken outside the towns. When Norway became a country of its own people started using it more to signal that they were not danish, but actually had a language of their own. Bokmål is closer to danish than nynorsk is, and thus easier to understand for danes at least.

So what is the story with you and swedish?
Ah, just that? I imagined Nynorsk more closely resembled Norwegian pronunciation, and Bokmål is more of a standard, traditional orthography or something. See, I know nothing about Norwegian. :D

Awww, that kind of sucks. You should go visit them sometime, spend some time in Norway as well. I can imagine that's easier said than done, though.
Nynorsk just has different pronounciation from what people are used to. That's about it as far as I can tell.

I havn't visited my family in Norway for years, I usually only meet them when they come to Denmark in the summer.
Haha, I like the word too.

Why do people have difficulty understanding Nynorsk? That's pretty strange to learn. Nice to hear you have family in Norway. Do you visit them? :D
